[player_tooltip player_id='499431' first='Johnny' last='O'Brien'] (Fremd – 6'2” 190)

This past season the Northwestern commit had 1,879 yards passing at a 67% completion rate along with 17 touchdowns. He is a lefty with a long and lean frame. Body type and has some tendencies reminiscent of Matt Leinart. Lets it rip downfield throwing the deep pass with good accuracy and touch. Like how he utilizes ball fakes to keep the linebackers honest. Creativity throwing on the move. Major zip and arm strength throwing the ball over the middle. Comes off hand with ease. Shifts weight well on throws. Quiet footwork. Places ball where his guy can catch it and do damage after the catch. Throws well on the run going both ways. He can run a little, but is definitely leaving the pocket to throw it as he always has his eyes looking to make a throw!

[player_tooltip player_id='212315' first='Jalen' last='Carter'] (Wheaton St. Francis – 6'1” 165)

Carter is a quarterback at 6'1" with good arm strength. Threads the needle on intermediate routes. Throws well on the move with his athleticism and can tuck it to run when needed. Leads his WR with throws and has amazing touch on his deep ball. Very good pocket presence and a quick release. Drops the ball in a bucket deep with touch and arm strength downfield. Also plays some DB where he has size and anticipation.

[player_tooltip player_id='801708' first='Johnny' last='Nelson'] (OPRF – 6'1” 175)

Nelson is a 6'1" quarterback that is an explosive runner with long strides. As a passer he has solid vision over the middle where he is probably best. Not a rocket for an arm, but puts good touch on his passes and has anticipation.

[player_tooltip player_id='801994' first='CJ' last='Gray'] (Brother Rice – 6'0” 160)

Super impressive tape from Gray. He is a dual threat QB with a ton of intriguing physical tools and skills. Ball comes off hand with ease. Accurate on the deep ball dropping in bucket. Strong arm that can power it through the teeth of the defense. Well above average athlete that has fluid movements in and out of the pocket. Can make plays when the pocket breaks down. Sound footwork. Plus runner on designed plays along with scrambles. Wizard in run/pass option ball handling.

[player_tooltip player_id='369201' first='Keller' last='Stocks'] (Mt. Zion – 6'2” 195)

Stocks brings good size at 6'2" along with a solid frame. He is like a point guard out there putting his weapons in position to do damage. Touch on the long ball and zip on intermediate routes. Decent runner that runs with power.

[player_tooltip player_id='819662' first='Andrew' last='Bonvechio'] (Glenbrook South – 6'0” 180)

Well built 6'0" QB with a strong base. He is solid on the deep ball really liking the deep fade putting air under it and dropping it in the bucket. Zip on crossing routes threading the needle. Overall throws it with the touch/arm strength necessary at each level to get the job done. Works well in play action situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='401610' first='Jamen' last='Williams'] (Fenwick – 5'9” 175)

Williams is a bit on the smaller side at just 5'9", but he can really get the job done as a distributor. Great job being a point guard getting his weapons in position to succeed. Whips arm with speed and is extremely accurate on intermediate routes. Very strong arm over the middle ripping it. Good athlete that can also tuck and run with quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='760422' first='Caden' last='Thompson'] (Woodstock – 5'1” 170)

As a sophomore Thompson threw for 789 yards and 6 touchdowns while completing 56% of his passes. Accurate deep ball thrower although it does hang up in the air. Works well in play action and is a solid athlete.
