2025 Rankings Update- New Offensive Additions!

Lowe is a dynamic back who thrives off his athleticism, physicality, and vision. Lowe is super quick on his feet, has some high-end speed, and can easily separate from defenders once he gets into the open field. It's impressive watching Lowe move around with the ball in his hands- he's patient behind the line of scrimmage, always takes the best lane, and frequently makes defenders miss all over the field. Lowe does a great job playing physically- he isn't afraid of contact, can withstand big hits, and can plow through defenders with ease. Last fall Lowe had a fantastic season where he recorded 216 carries for a ridiculous 1910 yards and 31 touchdowns. After how well he played last fall, Lowe has made his debut in our Rankings, and rightfully so. Carrell is an electric back who is tough for defenses to stop- he is seriously talented with the ball in his hands and has a ton of different skills that have made him one of the most dependable running backs in the state. Carrell has a terrific burst out of the backfield that allows him to rev up from 0-100 within seconds, making him nearly impossible to stop once he hits the open field. Carrell has some serious speed he uses to outrun entire defenses, when you combine that with his elusiveness there are many plays where Carrell goes untouched by defenders. Wright is a reliable pass catcher that thrives off his complete skill set. At 6'3 190, Wright has great size, is a really sharp route runner, has a terrific set of hands, and can easily play through contact and gain separation against some very talented defensive backs. I think what impressed me most about Wright's tape were his hands and how easy it is for him to get open- frequently on tape Wright burns whoever is lined across from him to secure some difficult-to-catch passes at a highly consistent rate. Last fall Wright had a great junior season where he recorded 26 receptions for 490 yards and 4 touchdowns on the year. Dotson has been a huge part of Tuscaloosa County's offensive success, he is a terrific facilitator of their offense that does a ton with both his arm and legs. Dotson has a talented arm- he delivers every throw with terrific accuracy and ball placement regardless of how deep downfield his target is. Dotson also has a lot of arm strength that allows him to zip the ball into some tight windows. In addition to his arm, Dotson also has some great pocket presence- he has a great feel for pressure and when he needs to escape which allows him to frequently extend plays. When you combine that kind of arm talent with Dotson's awareness, mobility, and understanding of the offense, you've got yourself a seriously reliable option under center.
