2025 Rankings Update- New Defenders Set to Make a Splash!

Caudle plays on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and safety and can make some game-changing plays at both positions. Although a talented WR, Caudle shines at DB. As a defensive back, Caudle is terrific in coverage- he isn't easily baited, doesn't get beat deep, and consistently uses his hands to jar the ball loose/pick off passes. Caudle is highly athletic and can make plays all around the field- he has terrific sideline-to-sideline speed, plays with great pursuit, and has a motor that runs all four quarters. With how well he's played, Caudle has picked up a bunch of attention from schools at the next level recently. He's received offers from West Georgia, North Alabama, and more. Smith can do everything his coaches ask of him- he's a talented pass rusher, can set the edge, and even occasionally will drop back into coverage to shut down TEs/RBs. As a pass rusher, Smith can generate consistent pressure. He has a wide variety of moves and athleticism he uses to overwhelm and beat offensive linemen to get to the quarterback. Against the run, Smith is a dominant defender. He sets the edge well, doesn't let the running back break to the outside, and is a terrific tackler who consistently brings down the ball carrier at and behind the line of scrimmage. After his prolific junior season last year, Smith is set up for a really big final season this fall. Andrews can do it all- he's great at blitzing, can stop the run, and consistently finds himself near the ball making plays. Andrews is a talented pass rusher- he has the speed and finesse to easily slip by offensive tackles and can generate pressure/force quarterbacks into hurried decisions all game long. In addition to his pass rushing, Andrews is terrific against the run. He does a great job meeting the ball carrier at the line of scrimmage but also can bring them down in the open field if necessary. Last season, Andrews ended the year with 30 total tackles (16 solo) and a sack in just 6 games. Heading into his senior season Wilkins has a ton of skills in coverage, especially when he's lined up in man. Wilkins is successful when pressing up against wide receivers- he plays with a ton of physicality and can physically exhaust WRs lined up against him. It's hard for pass catchers to win against him, he uses his hands to jar the ball free/pick off passes and is a reliable tackler who doesn't allow for any additional yards after the catch. Last year was one of Wilkins' best seasons yet as a starter, he was lock down in coverage and made plays all season long. Keep an eye on him this fall, Wilkins is set up for a big senior season.
