2025 Prospects That Did A Great Job This Past Week

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a class with a lot of talent. We were able to make it to Louisville for the jamboree in Winston County. There was a lot of great talent there.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jay Ruffin</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ruffin is a quarterback for Starkville this season. The past seasons, we have seen him start at the defensive back position. This is going to be our first time seeing him as a full-time starter for their varsity squad as the quarterback. This young man was out there being a general for his team. We were able to see him be a leader. We think that he is going to have a good season as their starting quarterback.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>KaMario Taylor</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Taylor is going to be amazing this season. We were able to see him make some good throws this past weekend. It is a blessing to be able to watch a quarterback like him get to work. He has such great mechanics in the pocket. On one play, we were able to see him have to move slightly outside of the pocket. When you watch his mechanics on this play, you can tell that he is a guy who has been training to be a good quarterback for a long time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='350934' first='Quincy' last='Phillips']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Phillips is a player we have been keeping up with for a long time. He did a good job in their jamboree versus West Point. He is a guy we may also see at the quarterback position some. Brandon has a sophomore who they are breaking in at the QB spot. We may see Phillips fill in to take some of the pressure off of their guy. He is a shifty guy who they are probably going to let run the ball out of the backfield a lot. We are also expecting to see him playing slot receiver a lot this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1042553' first='Marvin' last='Moore']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Moore is a running back who we have been bragging on for a long time. We were able to get our eyes on him for the first time last season at this same jamboree. We really think that he is going to have a chance to start pulling in some division one attention this season. He needs to start the year off very hot. This guy is a player who runs the football very low to the ground. He is out there making people miss as well as running defenders over. This is a guy to keep your eyes on this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
