2024 Season Preview: Breakout Offensive Lineman

<p>The 2024 season in the Natural State is just days away, with Week Zero starting on August 25th. Prep Redzone conducts thorough research and evaluation to uncover under-the-radar athletes poised to impact the upcoming season. That said, here are five offensive linemen I expect to have a breakout season that catches the eye of college coaches and recruiters even more.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1397558' first='Graysen' last='Narens'] is an athletic guard who dominates both in the running and passing game. Narens displays good initial quickness in base and reach blocks, along with pulling and getting into his pass sets. He showcases good foot quickness, pad level, and lower body power to drive and displace defenders to create running lanes. Harneck displays solid initial quickness off the snap, positioning himself to create leverage and drive defenders out of gaps to create running lanes due to good lower body power, strength, and active feet. Bowers displays solid initial quickness in his pass sets. He's balanced and gets squared to anchor with good lower body strength, core strength, and hand placement to control the opposition. Kelly is a run mauler due to his solid power and lower body strength. He displays solid initial quickness with good footwork, hand placement, and leg drive to displace defenders and create running lanes. He has the foot quickness to reach with good angles on zone and reach blocks and wall-off defenders, allowing running backs to reach the second level. Carter displays good initial quickness off the snap. He demonstrates solid foot quickness, pad level, and hand placement when engaging, creating leverage, and driving the DL to create a running lane. He provides good protection in 45 and Jump sets, with the initial quickness and solid hand timing to dominate and control in one-on-one pass protection.
