He is coming off a spring and summer recruitment period where he grabbed the attention of many D1 programs and announced his commitment to Navy on June 24, 2024. He has an obvious burst into the route, one-step cuts, and impeccable catching ability. Malloy attended a series of camps this summer including Boston College and Yale. He heads into the fall 2024 season graded as a Div 1 prospect. I see him as an outside defender who can play nickel at the next level. He has a solid field presence and he is very quick and reactive to both pass and run. He has leadership qualities that his coaches can see in him. This will help him increase his recruitment activities as he heads into the 2024 fall season. He was a nickel outside linebacker and free safety for his team last year and will likely assume the same role as he heads into the fall 2024 season. He is currently ranked as the # 2 athlete in the New England class of 2026.
