We continue our journey looking at the top prospects from Northern Iowa. Returning to the North Iowa Cedar League, we take a look at the top OL recruits to watch out for in 2024. Of the fifteen teams in the division, I highlighted 6 offensive-linemen from this group that should be seen as potential leaders on the trenches this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1370668' first='Gavin' last='Trask'] is already shaping up to be one of the best interior offensive-linemen in Iowa as a junior. Trask showed jarring strength, overpowering defenders with ease, and he maintains quick lateral movement and acceleration to make him an effective pull-Guard that paved for an offense that finished with over 1600 rushing yards last season. What impresses me the most is his hustle through every play, which particularly showed in one of his clips where he chased down a defender and made the tackle to save what could've been a pick-six. Trask is on the right path to stardom as a sure blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1286480' first='Dre' last='Reisetter'] has been a rock at Right Tackle for the Tigers' offense. Reisetter holds a solid stance and shows great balance as a blocker. Reisetter shows great drive and strength holding off defenders, and when he gets his hands on a defender, he is very difficult to break off of. Reisetter should work on building his speed and burst off the snap to hone his blocking skills against speedier pass-rushers, but Reisetter is a strong, durable blocker who has the skills to be a great foundational piece of any O-line in the future.

Drew Roberts spent last season splitting time as a Guard and on the defensive-line. Roberts' frame is a lot longer and leaner than most offensive-linemen, but as he continues to build weight, Roberts has the makings of a Power-5 run-blocker. Roberts plays with aggressiveness, showing a great understanding of hand placement and leverage, matching the footwork of his defenders to prevent them from finding a way around him. For his size, Roberts holds his own against stronger defenders and is a good pull-blocker in the run game. With a bit of extra bulk, Roberts will be nearly impenetrable against his opponents.

Parker Kuennen saw some playing time toward the end of his freshman year, and he should be due to see a lot more playing time as a starter on the trenches heading into his sophomore year. Kuennen's size, frame, and arm length at his age is stellar, and in limited film, he showed great leverage and quick movement as a pull-blocker. Kuennen could quickly surge as a top OL prospect that should earn a high ranking on the Class of 2027 ranking board by the end of this season.

Kolton Dewall will certainly need to continue building size to play Left Tackle in the collegiate ranks, but he manages to hold really well as the blindside blocker for the Wolverines. Dewall has a broad upper frame and shows good balance in his footwork, and he plays with a great level of drive to push back defenders to open up running-lanes. Dewall wins his reps with leverage, forcing his defenders into awkward spots that make it difficult to maneuver around him. If Dewall can bulk up more, by the end of the season, Dewall should be a viable target among college teams as both a developmental blocker and as a viable long-snapper.

Dawson Dietrick saw playing time during his sophomore year at Center, and he's shaping up to be a great cog in the middle of the Wolverines' O-line. Dietrick is as tough as they come, and he is a relentless blocker, wrestling his defenders to the ground. Dietrick does a very good job with down-blocking and is capable of breaking into the second level of defense to make a block downfield. Dietrick is another name on the trenches from the Wolverines to look out for moving forward.
