There might not be a WR in the state more underrated than [player_tooltip player_id='1702010' first='Cam' last='Jones']. He is an outstanding traits prospect, coming in at 6'3 190 with plenty of giddy-up. Most players with his frame play on the outside, but Jones gets most of his reps in the slot and occasionally lines up as an HB. He has impressive speed and mobility for his size, making him dangerous after the catch. There is plenty of breakaway speed present, building away from defenders with each long stride as he looks to break the tape. He is a solid route runner, showcasing good footwork and bend at the top of his route. He can threaten DBs vertically, but he can really attack the underneath part of the field thanks to his sudden nature. If Jones can prove he can consistently win above the rim, the intrigue around him will only continue to rise. As it stands now, I have an FBS grade on Jones, and he has yet to receive much recruiting attention at all.

Tinerious Stallings is lightning in a bottle. Here is his eval from this offseason:

"Tinerious Stallings is one of the more electric players in the state with the ball in his hands, and he is rightfully picking up momentum on the recruiting trail. Stallings is perhaps the best return man in the state, frequently housing kickoffs and utilizing his excellent mobility to dance around defenders. He has the breakaway speed to pull away from defenders, but his start, stop, and change of direction are on another level. He uses the defenders' momentum against them, pausing his pursuit to the endzone to jump into a different running lane. He is difficult to catch from behind and is nearly impossible to get a hand on in a 1v1 in the open field. He projects as a productive slot WR at the college level who can yield a lot of targets and find the field early on special teams."

OL prospects with noticeable athletic traits and physical upside always draw my attention, and [player_tooltip player_id='1671916' first='Tyler' last='Chukuyem'] fits that mold. He is a 6'5 260 capable athlete with thin ankles and plenty of length. Plays mostly RT, but there's a solid chance he will end up playing LT at the next level. He is light on his feet allowing him to quickly get into his pass set and step in front of defenders from different alignments. There is plenty of flexibility in his ankles, allowing him to absorb and recover when defenders try to bull-rush him. Added play strength will ultimately determine how good he can be, but he does play with a high motor and a violent edge, working hard to drive defenders to the turf on down blocks and hunt them in open space.

It's well documented at this point, but [player_tooltip player_id='262739' first='JR' last='Harris'] is consistently listed among the best 2027 QBs in the state, and he has started to receive some D1 offers and buzz after a productive freshman season. He is an impressive athlete and flashes elite off-script skills when the play breaks down. He is a smaller guy, but there is plenty of juice in his arm. He is a playmaker, but he is also reliable, completing 70% of his passes during his freshman season. You will continue to hear [player_tooltip player_id='262739' first='JR' last='Harris']'s name over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1313999' first='Jordyn' last='Woods'] is a scouts dream at DB, hovering around 6'3/6'4 and around 175-180 pounds. His length and presence are suffocating on the outside, tying up receivers with his long arms and clouding passing lanes in zone coverage. He is the definition of "difficult to throw over". He might not have the straight-line speed that some smaller CBs possess, but he is twitchy and can change direction with no problem. His tackling prowess is what will find him on the field early, probably on special teams. He dodges blocks well and settles down in an alley with a ball carrier. He is aware of his length and uses it to attack the legs of ball carriers, upending them. [player_tooltip player_id='1313999' first='Jordyn' last='Woods'] will find the field at the next level, in what capacity is the only question. A 6'4 twitchy corner with tackling ability is difficult to leave on the bench.

[player_tooltip player_id='1077918' first='Josh' last='Love'] is a super well-rounded defender for Cass with plenty of experience under his belt over the last two years. He is a chess piece, lining up as a safety and corner, both in the slot and on the outside. He is a mechanic with his footwork, matching releases for WRs and keeping all the action in front of him. As a tackler, he is patient in his downhill pursuit and doesn't overpursue the football. He attacks the trunk of ball carriers and wraps up when making tackles. He might not possess the speed or flash that other highly touted DBs do, but Love is always in the right spot at the right time and has enough athleticism to make a play. Love is a super clean prospect with a high floor. He should get a crack at the D1 level.

College programs across all levels should hold real estate at Cedartown, where you can frequently find athletic, gritty prospects all over the field. [player_tooltip player_id='1636879' first='Astin' last='Turner'] is one of my favorite sleepers out of the NWGA region. He checks plenty of boxes measurables-wise at 6'1 170, and can easily add another 20 pounds to his frame. He is more of a linear mover, not possessing the fastest feet. However, he is fluid and patient in coverage, allowing him to stay in phase with WRs and give himself a chance on the ball. He isn't afraid to come downhill and strike. In fact, he looks most comfortable playing with cushion and keeping the action in front of him. Helps keep outside contain on the run game, playing close to the line and playing horizontally along the line well. Turner could stick at corner or end up sliding back to play safety.

Isaiah Livsey is one of my favorite sleeper RBs in Georgia. He is an athletic 5'8 180 with a basketball background. He is more quick than he is fast, showcasing some serious bounce and change of direction in his feet. He is tough to tackle in a phone booth, weaving in and around would-be tacklers and generating his own yards. Breakaway speed is still developing, but he is patient and paces himself well while following blocks. Not only is he a solid runner, but he also has some pass-catching ability. Livsey is a playmaker and can be on the field for any down.

From an athletic standpoint, it's hard to argue against any of the traits that [player_tooltip player_id='1275460' first='Xavious' last='Nalls'] brings to the table. He is a 6'2 175 corner with plenty of length. He is a talented basketball player as well. He is already hard to throw over thanks to his height and wingspan, but his leaping skills take that to another level. Even against big receivers, he can climb the ladder with ease and pluck the ball a solid foot above a receiver's head. He is still refining football-specific movements, but he is athletic enough to dodge defenders and is willing to come downhill and strike. Nalls should definitely get a shot at the FBS level. Athletically, he is on par with some of the higher-rated DBs in the class. He just needs to continue growing and getting his teeth cut on the football field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092208' first='McCord' last='Purdy'] is perhaps the top playmaker for Pickens. Here is my write-up on him from earlier this year:

"McCord has been covered before, but this is my first time taking an extended look at him. He is a steady WR prospect with good size, measuring in at 6'2 170. On tape, McCord impresses with his fantastic body control. He understands where the sidelines and backline are at all times and is capable of reaching back across his body/over his head to make grabs. Purdy isn't the twitchiest prospect, but he has the long speed to gradually get behind safeties. From there, he can track the ball over his shoulder and through contact, consistently reeling in tightly contested passes. In the return game, McCord shows off his awareness and vision, keeping his eyes up and weaving in and out of traffic to find room to run. If you are looking for a productive WR prospect with a high floor, Purdy could be your guy in the 2026 class."
