The high school football season is a little over a month away. However, plenty of work is still to be done in camps and on the practice fields throughout the state. In this article, we are going to highlight several prospects that have performed well in performance as well as team camps this week. It was another busy week in the Natural State with plenty of prospects to take a look at.

[player_tooltip player_id='399175' first='Sam' last='Paladino']-Offensive Line-Little Rock Catholic-2025

Over the past few years, [player_tooltip player_id='399175' first='Sam' last='Paladino'] has become one of the most talented offensive linemen in the state of Arkansas. Paladino gets out of the stance quickly and uses his hands well to keep opposing defenders out of the offensive backfield. He is an offensive lineman that has quick feet. Paladino opens rushing lanes well and is always looking for a second defender to block. He had a strong camp performance this week at Arkansas Tech and earned a scholarship offer in the process. I expect a strong season from Paladino this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1303950' first='Carson' last='Brister']-Wide Receiver-North Little Rock-2026

The North Little Rock football team made the trip to Greenbrier to participate in a team camp this week. [player_tooltip player_id='1303950' first='Carson' last='Brister'] had the opportunity to put his impressive speed on display this week. He creates separation and does a nice job of looking the football into his hands. Brister is dangerous in the open field and has no problem making opposing defenders miss. The North Little Rock wide receiver is a prospect to watch out for over the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='221273' first='Jordan' last='Walker']-Quarterback-Bryant-2025

[player_tooltip player_id='221273' first='Jordan' last='Walker'] is a signal caller that has no problem opening eyes. He is an athletic prospect at the quarterback position. Walker does a great job of extending the play in and out of the pocket. He throws the football with accuracy to all areas of the field. Walker has the arm strength to connect with wide receivers on the vertical routes. He had a strong performance this week at the Southern Arkansas camp and earned a scholarship offer from the Muleriders in the process. Walker is a prospect that I expect to have a strong season for the Hornets this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259439' first='Roman' last='Nye']-Wide Receiver-Farmington-2025

[player_tooltip player_id='1259439' first='Roman' last='Nye'] continues to have an impressive offseason. The Farmington wide receiver has put his route running abilities on display over the past few weeks. Nye uses his route running and quickness to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He had a strong team camp earlier in the week that the Cardinals hosted. Nye is the type of wide receiver that has no trouble hauling in the tough reception and extending the drive. He is a player to watch out for over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='384054' first='Cole' last='Witherington']-Wide Receiver-Bauxite-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='384054' first='Cole' last='Witherington'] is a versatile player that can hurt opposing defenses in a variety of ways for the Miners. He had a strong season in 2023 and is building momentum for the upcoming season. Witherington uses his speed to his advantage to create separation from opposing defenders. Witherington has the ability to haul in the difficult receptions and create a big play afterwards. The Bauxite wide receiver had a strong performance at the Southern Arkansas camp. He is a player to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.
