Offensively, he is a north and south runner that gets downhill quickly and shows vision at the first level, cutback abilities and can make defenders miss in one on one situations with ease while never shying from contact. Defensively, he can play both inside or outside linebacker and quickly sniffs out plays, triggers downhill and knifes into the backfield quickly while a very sure tackler in the box that can play sideline to sideline as well. Defensively, he was one of the the northern section's leaders in sacks and provides a nice interior rush while also able to play the run and plug gaps while athletic enough to play either at tackle or nose. He excels at getting extra yards after the catch and when gaining the edge, and is a twitchy runner with open field wiggle along with a powerful lower body that can easily break arm and ankle tackles. At the POA, he displays excellent contact balance, leg drive through contact and does a good job at running behind his pads and always falling forward for tough yards.
