Zach Davis 6'0" | 202 lbs | QB | 2026
TX

Texas is known for having top-tier signal callers and the 2026 class is no exception. Today, I'm looking at some of the of top rising junior quarterbacks without a scholarship offer right now. Each one of these youngsters were varsity contributors as a sophomore and stood out on tape. Look for them to be even better as juniors and see their stock rise.

As always, If you have someone you think I need to see, please DM them to me on Twitter at @hsfbscout!

Jordan Grant, 6'3" 195, Plano West

A southpaw with the creativity and athletic ability to extend and a twitchy release. Grant can throw off uneven platforms, he can quickly expedite his release with pressure incoming and shows easy touch on the nine route. He's quite slippery within the pocket and can make defenses pay on the scramble drill.

London Morgan, 6'1" 170, Rouse

A true gunslinger with the arm and accuracy for deep shot plays. London can get to the edge and pick up big yardage with his feet if a hard edge isn't set. He keeps his eye searching downfield when forced out of the pocket and has the patience to allow concepts to develop.

DeMarus Bird, 6'4" 215, Mansfield Summit

Bird already has prototypical size for the quarterback position. He's a teardrop thrower on the fade route, he plays fearless & will take physical shots from opposing blitzers and get right up. He can provide a tough running threat on short-yardage situations and has a sense of calmness throughout.

[player_tooltip player_id='803139' first='Zach' last='Davis'] 6" 205, Legacy

Davis has a quick set-up and can launch the long ball at the drop of a hat. He's a feathery level three thrower who consistently places the football to his target in stride. He's got more than enough athleticism to keep plays alive with his legs and can alter his arm slot for awkward window throws.

Joshua Greek, 6'6" 215, Frisco Heritage

Greek to me is a really intriguing quarterback prospect. He's got the size, he stands tall in the pocket and has relaxed/controlled footwork. He can plant his back foot & drive the football and will place the go ball right over his target's shoulder in the breadbasket. If he can show consistent arm strength on the third level, the offers are going to come.

Connor Bailey, 6'1" 170, Port Neches-Groves

Bailey had nearly a 10:1 touchdown to interception ratio last fall, he glides up into the pocket with traffic bearing down on the outside and has the arm strength for long fieldside throws. Bailey knows when to take a little something off, he's shows great anticipation through through the holes in zone coverage and shows some serious moxy.

Texas is known for having top-tier signal callers and the 2026 class is no exception. Today, I'm looking at some of the of top rising junior quarterbacks without a scholarship offer right now.
