Another handful of prospects shared their pledges in the final three days of the month, including a trio headed to in-state FCS programs.

Here's a look at the new pledges that caught our attention so far this week.

Another Wildcats defensive standout found a nearby home for the next level Monday, as Hines helped kick off another week of Louisiana recruiting movement with his commitment to Grambling State, a short drive west on Interstate 20, just a two days after [player_tooltip player_id='1214138' first='Fred' last='Clark']'s pledge to hometown ULM.

[player_tooltip player_id='144902' first='Alec' last='Haynes'] — 6-2, 210 LB — University Lab (2025) —> Nicholls State

and [player_tooltip player_id='291082' first='Amari' last='Clayton'] — 6-2, 185 WR — Catholic (Baton Rouge) (2025) —> Nicholls State

Coach Tim Rebowe and his Colonels landed another pair of top Louisiana players this week — the type of in-state talent on which the program has thrived throughout his tenure — as a pair of notable Baton Rouge prospects announced their commitments on back-to-back evenings. Haynes, the stout U-High linebacker, and Clayton, the sure-handed Catholic High receiver with good size and speed, have been ranked on Prep Redzone Louisiana's 2025 lists from early in their development and remain top-100 prospects in the always-loaded state.

Calvin Spears — 6-3, 210 WR/ATH — Madison Prep (2025) —> Navy

Another talented Baton Rouge athlete announced his commitment Wednesday evening to a notable program with a track record of recruiting the area. Navy extended an offer to Spears in late June, and the tall, athletic Madison Prep target and leader in the Chargers' rising senior class committed to the opportunity with the prestigious service academy in the final hours of July.

Quincey McKay — 6-2, 195 WR — Terrebonne (2025) —> Tuskegee

and Jaret Bolden — 6-0, 280 OL — Terrebonne (2025) —> Tuskegee

"Once a Tiger, always a Tiger" for a pair of Terrebonne standouts who announced their Tuskegee commitments this week on back-to-back days in a span of about 20 hours. McKay has long been a highly ranked prospect on Prep Redzone Louisiana's 2025 lists as a tall, reliable pass-catcher with versatility outside or in the slot. Bolden is a rising senior leader and interior anchor at center for an offensive line loaded with college talent with his stout, strong build, powerful hands and lateral mobility to stay in front of quick moves by defenders.
