Prep Redzone Louisiana will release its latest 2026 rankings this week, continuing its class-by-class updates process as the upcoming season approaches.

Leading up to the complete, 200-player list of rising seniors on Thursday, we will count down the top 50 in more detail.

And make sure to check back following the release for additional features and notes, including looks at debuts, stock-risers and top remaining uncommitted prospects.

No. 10 [player_tooltip player_id='920606' first='Darryus' last='McKinley'] — 6-3, 225 DL — Acadiana

Another round of rankings updates in the top 10 overall and as the top defensive end for the younger McKinley, the brother of top-ranked 2024 prospect and LSU signee Dominick. Darryus started to come into his own as a sophomore with a four-sack, 12-TFL campaign and should be among the top playmakers on a still title-hopeful Wreckin' Rams squad as a junior.

No. 9 [player_tooltip player_id='1345158' first='Blaise' last='Thomassie'] — 6-5, 265 OL — Catholic (Baton Rouge)

The highest-ranked debut in the 2026 rankings entering the group's junior season, Thomassie has the size, strength, athleticism and mental makeup with a blend of intelligence, toughness and nastiness college coaches all over the country are looking for — and, in the case of the Bears' young standout, starting to find and offer. Oregon, Florida State and Arkansas have been among the first programs to make their move.

No. 8 [player_tooltip player_id='401954' first='Dylan' last='Berymon'] — 6-3, 305 DL — Ouachita Parish

One of the major stock-risers in the class on the heels of his sophomore season, Berymon remains steady among Louisiana's top 2026 prospects as a big, explosive force inside for his Lions with an impressive offer list that includes LSU, Texas, Florida, Oregon, Baylor and Missouri.

No. 7 [player_tooltip player_id='710991' first='Richard' last='Anderson'] — 6-4, 280 DL — Edna Karr

The first commitment of LSU's 2026 class and one of Louisiana's first 2026 commits to any college thus far, "Big Rich" has remained one of the leaders of the class throughout going back to being one of its first members to garner scholarship offers or make an on-field impact for his high school. The big, physical tackle is not only a run-stuffer on the inside, but also shows enough quickness and skill to get back blockers and into the backfield for disruptive plays behind the line.

No. 6 [player_tooltip player_id='740981' first='Brysten' last='Martinez'] — 6-6, 290 OL — East Ascension

Martinez shows great mobility and tenacity to his game to go with his ideal frame as one of the nation's top tackle prospects with a long offer list that includes LSU, Georgia, Texas A&M, Texas, Houston, Florida State, TCU, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Baylor, Tulane and many more. He heads into his third season as a starter for his Spartans with experience on both the right and left sides.

No. 5 [player_tooltip player_id='401932' first='Aiden' last='Hall'] — 6-2, 185 DB — Edna Karr

Louisiana's dynamic duo of star safeties prospects hold strong in the top five overall. Hall is a rangy athlete who covers a lot of ground in a hurry on the back end of the defense, has great ball skills when opponents risk throws anywhere in his vicinity and shows explosive physicality and a nose for the ball when coming downhill.

No. 4 [player_tooltip player_id='401737' first='Blaine' last='Bradford'] — 6-2, 205 DB — Catholic (Baton Rouge)

Bradford overtakes the No. 4 spot after returning from injury late last season, playing well in the Bears' dominant state championship performance and then rolling through a busy and productive offseason of training, 7-on-7 work and camp showings that included a 4.4-second 40-yard dash at Ohio State. Whether Bradford remains at safety or, more likely, ends up a linebacker at the next level, he is a special athlete who is unsurprisingly high on the wish lists of college programs' around the country.

No. 3 [player_tooltip player_id='212340' first='Jabari' last='Mack'] — 6-0, 185 WR — Destrehan

Another edition of the 2026 rankings list with Mack at No. 3 on the heels of a pair of trench stars. The Wildcats' promising pass-catcher appears to hold offers from most of the nation's prominent college programs with his strong build, explosiveness and impressive track speed.

No. 2 [player_tooltip player_id='212343' first='Lamar' last='Brown'] — 6-4, 260 OL — University Lab

Brown has been a top-two prospect in every round of Prep Redzone Louisiana rankings updates thus far his entire high school career — in a largely 1A/1B dynamic as a top-tier talent among not only the state's, but the nation's best. The Cubs' star was among the perennial power's top players the past two seasons as a tackle on both sides of the ball, boasts notable athleticism and versatility across both lines and should be among the faces of the program the next two years.

No. 1 [player_tooltip player_id='212341' first='Jahkeem' last='Stewart'] — 6-6, 280 DL — St. Augustine

The "Thanos" nickname may as well refer to Stewart's standing as Prep Redzone Louisiana's top-ranked 2026 prospect thus far in his high school career. The Purple Knights' star defensive lineman has held the position in every round of updates going back to freshman year and holds strong there after a summer of dominant camp performances.
