Standing at 6-1, Johnson is an adept over-the-shoulder catch maker down the field. He excels at creating a barrier between the catch and the defender, ensuring possession. Johnson is a very willing and skilled blocker, showcasing physicality and great footwork in the open field. He has incredible confidence in his accuracy to the deeper parts of the field and showcases patience to hold his composure in the pocket to hit the windows the defense gives him. His RPO IQ and quick reads are impressive, and he effectively uses the long hand-off to draw coverage down, fitting throws over the top. As a stable presence at center, he shows quick reactions and great force off the snap to create pancakes quickly. His ability to play leverage and positioning at the snap is exceptional, as he quickly identifies the correct angle to efficiently create gaps on the interior. When match-ups are lined up directly across, he uses a great forward and upward technique to work through the opponent's pads. As an offensive lineman, he is very in-tune with how to properly attack defenders and the angles that need to be taken to set the base for gaps or set the edge on outside schemes. He is very strong and quick out of the chute. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Defensively, Miller displays impressive agility at the end position with a bull-rush and swim move that works adequately. He displays awareness and explosive footwork in coverage, with particularly good footwork for keeping contain, maintaining coverage across the middle of the field, and dispelling blockers. Chaffin is a very strong, vice-grip tackler with incredible strength and tenacity in the middle of the defense. He excels in the RPO game with very quick reading skills, unafraid to hit the quick window in the middle of the field with a wrist flick. His extreme athleticism, combined with sneaky speed, makes him a dynamic play maker.
