Unoffered and flying under the radar. Ware displays good read and react ability, attacking downhill quickly vs the running game while staying square with good pad level, angles and UOH to shed blocks and make a play at the LOS or in the backfield. Sideline-to-sideline motor with the physicalness and speed to shoot gaps and make a play in the backfield or chase down ball carriers. Solid open field tackler with good technique and pad level. Solid feel in zone and man coverage, keying the quarterbacks' eyes and reacting to arrive at the catch point. Showcases a multi-cut ability with impressive burst to break away from the second level after making the first initial cut. With that ability, good change of direction and vision, he's able to locate cutback lanes quickly and get up field. Consistently breaking tackles with good contact balance, leg drive and active feet to create yards after contact in the first and second levels. Once read, he has the burst to separate from the first level into the second and third levels quickly. His downfield vision enables him to progress through his reads both inside and outside the pocket. With good anticipation, he leads receivers well, placing the ball accurately to maximize yards after catch (YAC) opportunities. He shows precision in passing at all levels of the field. As a high IQ football player, he can read defenses.
