Lopez has been flying under the radar, but he has had a big coming out party this off season. He has a lean, athletic frame at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds with the arm talent to deliver frozen ropes. He makes good decisions with the football, he sees the field well and he has the ability to make plays on the roll out outside the pocket. Lopez has great touch on his deep and he has a quick release that enables him to get the ball out quickly. College programs should get eyes on Lopez. He is a hidden gem and could be a steal for a program. Central Michigan has offered but I expect his offer sheet to get longer before the end of the season. Lopez had a good showing at the SQTs down in College Station over the weekend.

Fisher IV had a phenomenal junior season and he returns in 2024 as one the must see signal callers in the 2025 class. He moves well in the pocket, showcasing superb pocket presence and his ability to avoid the rush are parts of his skill set that stick out. Howard has a quick, whip like release and he has the arm talent to make throws from multiple arm slots. Fisher IV has elite quickness and speed. He is a threat in the running game with his elusive running ability and he has the explosion to make a house call for six. He torched defenses in 2023, passing for 1,766 yards with 20 touchdowns and he rushed for 650 yards with 12 touchdowns. With offers on the table from Air Force and Yale, I expect his recruiting profile to rise as he heads into his senior season.

Jenkins returns for his senior campaign as one of the top quarterbacks in the state in the class of 2025. He will bring experience and his dynamic arm talent to St. Thomas this season. Having Jenkins under center should put them right back in the conversation as a state title contender. Roy stands tall in the pocket, he has excellent field vision and his quick release enables him to get the ball out rapidly. He has the arm strength to make throws outside the numbers on a rope with pinpoint accuracy. Jenkins navigates the pocket with clean footwork and he has the ability to complete passes on the run outside the pocket. He is a national recruit with offers from Pittsburgh, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Tulane and Southern Miss. He has seen some love from in state schools, such as Lamar, Texas Tech, Texas State, UTSA and North Texas.

McCown has a big arm with the arm talent to spray the route tree with accuracy and make big throws. He has excellent touch on his deep ball, he gets the football out quickly and he has the ability to push the ball outside the numbers on a rope. Brady has a lean, athletic frame and he moves well in the pocket, showing the athleticism to escape pressure. McCown will have the opportunity to come in at Gilmer and put up some big numbers. He has the skill set to get the football to the playmakers for the Buckeyes and I expect McCowan to flourish under center in the Gilmer offense. College programs should pull up and get eyes on him this season.

Bricker has the arm talent to make every throw on the route tree and his ability to make plays with his arm on the move enables him to be a threat from the quarterback position. Brady has a stout, athletic frame and he has the running ability to make plays with his feet in the running game. Bricker navigates the pocket well, he has excellent vision with the ability to keep his eyes downfield and make plays. He has a big arm and he pushes the deep ball downfield with accuracy. With Bricker under center, Allen has a dynamic signal caller who can make big time throws that leads to points. With Bricker leading the charge, Allen could be a state contender this season. He was the quarterback MVP at the PRZ Texas camp in January. College programs will continue to get eyes on him. Ball State, East Central and UTEP have come to the table with offers.
