When it comes to high school football, there is simply no getting around the fact that the state of Florida stands alone.

While many other states have plenty of talent, and they do a great job of getting their prospects to the next level.

With that said, the sheer depth that Florida has – from the Panhandle to the Keys – is something that separates the Sunshine State from everyone else.

There are a number of hotbeds throughout the state, and one of them happens to be Duval County – where Jacksonville area teams have been in the mix each and every year.

As we continue to spotlight talent throughout Florida every day, we make a stop in Jacksonville to check out five Class of 2025 players who are already on the radar:

[player_tooltip player_id='1315725' first='Chase' last='Collier'], WR, 6-1, 170, Jacksonville Bolles. On a team that came within one game of making it to the 2M state title game, the Bulldogs remain loaded with tremendous talent and superior coaching. While this young man is a quality receiver – getting open and running solid pass routes – he will catch the ball anyplace on the field and move the chains. In addition, he is a huge asset on special teams, using his speed and athleticism to create positives.

Glenn “Tripp” Foreman III, QB, 6-2, 180, Jacksonville Riverside – 3.0 GPA. On a team loaded with talent and tremendous coaching, here is a difference maker, who is a three-year starter that gets it done with his arm and legs, where he extends plays and affords the offense to give the defense some rest. Not only does he throw the long ball with a big arm, but his short and intermediate game continues to improve as colleges are watching everything he does.

[player_tooltip player_id='1127072' first='Sam' last='Hayward'], Edge, 6-4, 215, Jacksonville Providence – 4.0 GPA. With football heavily in his bloodlines, here is an elite talent that does so many things well come off the end. His first step and high football IQ are the reason that colleges continue to shake their collective heads when watching him play. His vision and knack of getting to the ball fast are additional things that make this student/athlete attractive.

Jyon “Big Cat” Simon, DL, 6-2, 260, Jacksonville Raines. When you are coming off a season that saw 70 tackles, 10 sacks and 15 tackles for loss, it is a no brainer why Rutgers got themselves a difference maker for the future. Watch him play and you immediately see why he's the “cheat code” on the defensive line. Tough to find one offensive lineman that will stop him. He is too strong, athletic and dictates what's happening for the state-rated Vikings.

[player_tooltip player_id='830589' first='Dwayne' last='Stuckey Jr.'], QB, 5-10, 190, Jacksonville University Christian – 3.1 GPA. Talk to coaches about this quality prospect and all will tell you the same thing. Passion for the game, producer on the field, leadership and a gifted student in the classroom. While he can pick you apart with his passing game, you better not forget that his ability to move the chains with his league makes him a valuable talent.
