[player_tooltip player_id='800902' first='Lucas' last='Oakley'] has been a centerpiece of Brooks' defense the last several seasons as a dynamic linebacker that can impact opposing rushing and passing attacks greatly. Oakley is a highly athletic linebacker that can make plays from sideline to sideline, it's really impressive watching him pursue after the ball carrier. He plays with a ton of effort, does a great job wrapping up on tackles, and is an instinctual player that finds himself in the right spot every snap. Oakley has a great feel for reading offenses, it's rare that he gets tricked. Oakley had a great season on Brooks' defense last fall, and it showed up on the stat sheet. On the year he totaled up 107 tackles (14 for loss), 4 sacks, 2 blocked punts, 2 blocked FG, and one fumble return for a TD. With production like that, Oakley has seen his recruitment start gaining momentum. He just recently picked up an offer from Central Missouri, and with how he's been playing we could definitely see his recruitment continue to open up!

[player_tooltip player_id='538469' first='Jamarion' last='White'] is a really intriguing defensive line prospect out of Thompson who's set for a big year this fall. White has shown the ability to make plays at both defensive tackle and defensive end and does a great job utilizing his size to his advantage against the run. At 6'3 245, White can eat up space, fight off blocks, and completely close gaps when offenses are trying to establish the run. It's clear on tape that White has some strength and power that allow him to easily push around opposing offensive linemen and impact plays. If he's not making a tackle, he's opening up opportunities for his teammates to close in and make plays. Keep an eye on White going into this fall, he's been behind some top-tier collegiate-level talent over the last few seasons, and this year we could really see him break out on Thompson's defensive line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224624' first='Jabari' last='Staples'] is a dynamic pass catcher out of Clay Chalkville who has been really reliable for their offense over the last few seasons. Staples is a really versatile playmaker who can line up at tight end and multiple wide receiver positions, consistently making catches inside and outside the numbers. Frequently on tape Staples exhibits terrific athleticism, route running, and a great set of hands that allow him to haul in some tough-to-catch passes through coverage. In addition to those skills, Staples is a weapon with the ball in his hands. It's really impressive watching what he does after the catch, he has terrific contact balance, speed, and elusiveness that allow him to evade and plow through defenders at every level of the field. Last fall, Staples was a genuine threat to opposing secondaries throughout every quarter. Keep an eye on him this season, he has some real talent and potential that will allow him to have a great senior year!

[player_tooltip player_id='1129587' first='Brayson' last='Albin'] is a talented ATH out of Bob Jones that has been able to produce at a wide variety of positions for them. Albin has spent time as a middle linebacker, tight end, and even long snapper- consistently making the most of every opportunity. In my opinion, I believe Albin plays best on the defensive side of the ball. He has some real talents at linebacker that allow him to make some key plays against opposing offenses rushing attacks. Albin plays with a lot of instincts and speed, he's quick to react, is a physical player, and can locate and impact the ball carrier with a lot of ease. It'll be exciting to track Albin's growth this fall, he's a really coachable and talented prospect that has shown a lot of potential early on. Keep an eye on him as he heads into this season, he's set for a big sophomore season!
