Central Arkansas Camp Standouts

The Bears always attract talented prospects from across the Natural State to Conway and this camp was no different. Here are several prospects that opened eyes over the weekend. The Sheridan running back does a great job of allowing his rushing lanes to develop. He makes opposing defenders miss and has the burst to get into the second level quickly. Earlier in the summer, he had a great showing at the SMU camp and he has not slowed down one bit. Stephens has another strong performance in Conway over the weekend and earned a scholarship offer from Central Arkansas in the process. [player_tooltip player_id='1353115' first='Jackson' last='Edwards'] is a safety that can move up and plug up the rushing lanes. Meanwhile, Edwards does a nice job of playing the ball while it is in the air. Edwards had an impressive showing at the Central Arkansas camp. He had strong performances in one-on-one competition this weekend. He was extremely accurate last Monday night in a team camp the Greenland Pirates hosted. Meanwhile, he continued his momentum in an impressive showing at the Central Arkansas camp over the weekend. Norwood put his touch on the deep passes on display in the Bears camp. Meanwhile, he was able to showcase his ability to throw into tight coverages last Monday night. He reads the play well and puts himself in position to bring down the ball carrier. Roten has the speed to get sideline to sideline in order to haul down the ball carrier. He did not disappoint in the Central Arkansas camp over the weekend. Roten showcased the ability to drop back into pass coverage. Roten has the quickness to make plays on the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, Kannangaki is a running back that will open up rushing lanes for the ball carrier. He has the ability to punish opposing defenders with his blockers. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball he plays the linebacker spot with impressive effectiveness. Kannangaki had a strong showing in Conway over the weekend and earned a scholarship offer in the process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
