[player_tooltip player_id='1160198' first='Chance' last='McPike'] - WR - Lutheran North
(6'1" 180) Uncommitted
- A recent transfer to Lutheran North after having a monster freshman season at Warrenton high school as a receiver, defensive back and returner. Chance didn't look like a freshman when I watched him play in person and dominate on both sides of the ball. He had 42 receptions for 745 yards (17.7 yards per catch) and 11 touchdowns. He also had 23 tackles and 2 picks at DB, and averaged 34 yards per return on kick off returns. McPike is very skilled for his age and has great speed (one of the top sprinters in his class as a freshman), quickness and jumping ability. He has great body control, gets great position against defenders and makes circus catches using that and his great hands. Has tremendous awareness, concentration and ball skills. Chance also makes plays in space and after the grab using his quickness and acceleration to make people miss and then hit top speed. Colleges have taken notice of him this offseason and look for his recruitment to take off this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131048' first='Josiah' last='Robinson'] - CB - Lee's Summit North
(5'11" 175) Uncommitted
- One of the top overall athletes in the 2027 after proving himself at the Elite Combine, KC Varsity combine and Lindenwood MEGA camp with terrific testing numbers in the 40 with a 4.59 (he's also a top sprinter in the 2027 class), pro agility, vertical jump and broad jump. Josiah also showed lockdown corner skills with his speed, hips, physical play, quick hands and ball hawk abilities. I had the opportunity to watch Josiah play with his freshman team and dominate on both defense and offense. He has good ball skills and reads plays very well. He is also a strong tackler and plays well against the run. Colleges took notice of his considerable talents this spring and summer with schools such as Arkansas, UCF, Kent State and Miami University all extending early offers, with Nebraska, Missouri and others also starting to take interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1130985' first='Jack' last='Brown'] - TE - Francis Howell Central
(6'5" 205) Uncommitted
- Another 2027 Missouri prospect who turned the heads of colleges early with a strong freshman season playing varsity as a tight end and outside linebacker. Jack has great height and a great frame to add weight to. He also showed superior athleticism both on the field and testing at the Elite Combine, Varsity combine and Lindenwood MEGA camp. At Elite he ran a 4.75 laser and tested well overall. Skill wise he runs routes like a receiver, does a good job getting open, and has displayed reliable hands. Brown is also physical and blocks well. Stat wise as a freshman he was more productive on the defensive side of the ball with 45 tackles and 3 sacks off the edge. Colleges like him as a TE with him landing offers from Illinois, Houston, Kent State and Miami University already,

[player_tooltip player_id='1130992' first='Jonathan' last='Moore'] -QB/ATH - Lutheran North
(6'0" 201) Uncommitted
- Moore is physically advanced and very skilled as both a runner and passer. A true dual threat QB who backed up a future D1 quarterback as a freshman, but made the most of his reps as a back-up last season completing 73% of his passes for over 100 yards, and ran for 140 yards. Jonathan has had tremendous spring and summer running the Crusaders offense when I have watched them and looks like a future 2,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing quarterback as early as this season. He has good speed and runs with power to go with a strong, accurate arm and good understanding of his offense and how to make the right read and decision. Jonathan also played some safety last season on varsity and used that same athleticism and physical play to stand out when he saw action on defense. Look for a breakout season from him.

[player_tooltip player_id='400917' first='Ace' last='Herman-Dawson'] - OL - Battle
(6'6" 345) Uncommitted
- The massive offensive line prospect has been a player on my radar since he was a 7th grader, when he was already 6'3' 300 pounds. I invited him to the Elite Combine then (he has returned and dominated the past three) and he competed and held his own against high school players in attendance, who couldn't believe he was still in middle school. He has dominated every combine and camp he has attended since, including winning the King of the Hill belt at the KC Varsity combine in St. Louis back in May. Ace continued to develop and grow entering high school last year and was the starting left tackle and excelled earning All-District O-Line in 2023. He is a powerful mauler with great power who moves extremely well for his size and has surprising quickness and good feet. Ace uses his wide base, good punch, hands and kick step well in his pass pro and is a punishing run blocker who loves to stack up the pancakes. He still has a good ceiling and is just starting to come into his own as he continues to develop and improve his skills and physical development. UNLV saw enough this spring to extend an offer with Missouri, Purdue, Arkansas and others keeping a close eye on his future development.
