Mavrick is coming off of an outstanding sophomore season where he not only put himself on the map but certified himself as one of the top interior offensive linemen in the Indy region. He's aggressive, has no issue moving around, and has some of the strongest hands you'll see. He's got fantastic balance and his wrestling background comes through with his ability to bend and be creative with his body. I also felt like Mavrick only started to hit his stride last season, so there's plenty more left in the tank.

Helping anchor the line upfront for Center Grove is Scifries, who is as reliable as they come. Down in and down out, you know what you're getting from Scifres. He won't try to do too much and stick with his job. He has the natural strength to bully defenders off the line and clear the way in the running game, but he's also just as good in the passing game. He sets his feet, stays off his heels, and has no issue tracking blitzers through traffic. He's got plenty of reps, the size, and the knowledge to play ball at a high level for years to come.

Lawal has planted himself among the top Indy offensive linemen. He checks all the boxes and is still getting better. He's got elite size and length which always helps. He's then got an edge to his game that I like. He seems to be a guy who heats up as the game goes on and the intensity rises. When others are running out of gas, he's still got plenty left in the tank giving 100% effort on downs late in the 4th. High-effort guys who have the talent and produce are easy players to pick out, and Lawal is one of those guys.

Lining up on both sides of the ball and showing great versatility last season was Weimer. There are a few things about his game specifically that I love. The first is that he's a high-motor player. I've always been a big fan of high-effort guys. Guys who give high effort and have elite talent tend to go far. If you then produce at a high level it's typically an indication of things to come. Weimer can clear the way up front in the running game with his ability to win even without leverage. He's then able to wrap up, shut down, and clog the running game on defense. Both sides of the ball he's there to do his job and his part.

Dwenger has a very nice upcoming young core and Sorg is another one of those pieces. He's versatile with the ability to move around up front and play on the defensive side of the ball, but I think his future is on the offensive side. He has too many traits in my opinion that point to guard. He's nimble, he's off the line quickly, and he does a good job seeking contact once he gets to the 2nd level. While he's developing in a bunch of areas, it'd be nice to see him develop in the weight room more to help anchor down his bottom half which will help him drive out more defenders in the running game. He's confident and has other talented linemen around so hopefully, high tides can raise all boats here.
