2025 Defensive Lineman You May Not Know

Some of these guys could see their stock rise a lot this season. Let's check it out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Tykarrious Patrick</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a guy that I was very impressed with when I first watched his film. Patrick is a stud that knows how to defeat offensive linemen. He is a guy that has a very high motor in the trenches. We were able to see that he is a guy that can truly hold down the nose guard position when we watched his film. He is a guy that stays low. It is obvious to see that he knows how to use his hands to keep blockers from getting a good base on him. He also moves well in the trenches. This is a guy that we are going to be keeping up with this season. He is a 6-foot-3, 295-pound guy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1354200' first='Ardarius' last='Gardner']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gardner is another defensive tackle that caught our attention. His film was impressive. Gardner knows how to hold down his low center of gravity. He easily shed blocks and gets to runners. Gardner knows how to move around the line. He knows how to break up double teams. This is not the guy that you are going to see getting manhandled in the trenches. We think there is a great chance he is going to start receiving more offers this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='920454' first='Anthony' last='Hopson']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hopson is another guy that we think you need to keep your eyes on. We love bragging on this guy. He is a big body that knows how to hold his ground in the trenches. It is very hard for offensive linemen to move this young man out of the way. He is a force on their trench unit by himself. This guy makes it easy on Neshoba Central's linebackers. He knows how to use his hands and he is quick. Expect big things from him this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1127570' first='Travon' last='McDonald']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McDonald is a stud from Louisville that we have been keeping up with for a long time. He is not the tallest guy out there, but this young man is very athletic. I think that if he is able to get quicker and have better hip movements, he can move to the linebacker position. This is a guy that has good speed. We see him do back flips before games. Clearly he is a player that deserves the chance to play on the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
