Over the next few weeks, we will be breaking down the top athletes at every position in the state of Washington, regardless of class (2025-27). Per usual all rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level.

*Individuals will only be listed on one side of the ball

1.[player_tooltip player_id='652796' first='Liufau' last='Loumoli'] 6-1 210 27' Eastside Catholic OFFERS (16) Ohio St, Michigan, Oregon, USC, Washington

One of the top LB's in America for his class. His overall physicality and combination of speed and instincts are incredibly rare. He had an unreal freshman season making 54 total tackles with 7 tackles for loss.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='348147' first='Zaydrius' last='Rainey-Sale'] 6-3 220 25' Bethel WA OFFERS (20) Washington, Oklahoma, Florida St, Texas, UCLA

The 4* prospect is one of the top players in America regardless of position. Watch the film and see you one of the most dominant LBs in the country, who averaged 11+ tackles per game with double digit sacks and tackles for loss. He has been offered by some of the top teams in the country after opening back up his recruitment, with the coaching change at UW.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='402799' first='Wassie' last='Lugolobi'] 6-2 220 26' Eastside Catholic WA OFFERS (7) Washington, Colorado, Arizona St, Tennessee

Expect Lugolobi to be ranked among the top players in America for his class. The speed at which he plays is on a different level, leading the Crusaders in tackles (68), sacks (5), and tackles for loss (12.5). His recruitment could skyrocket in the coming months.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='273753' first='Jonathan' last='Epperson Jr']. 6-0 195 25' Auburn Riverside WA OFFERS (13) Arkansas, Washington, Arizona, Utah, USC

The offers speak to his game but there are questions. Epperson Jr. projects as more of a WLB but could play numerous other spots on the field. On the year he made 77 tackles with 8.5 tackles for loss.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='693685' first='Dre' last='Sio-Fetaui'] 6-2 225 25' Lincoln WA OFFERS (2) Arizona, Nevada

The 3* is a physical prospect who continues to up his stock. He earned 1st team all-state honors, averaging 10+ tackles per game with double digit tackles for loss.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='1188110' first='Michael' last='Pulalasi'] 6-0 225 27' Lakes WA

You can expect Pulalasi to be ranked among the top players in Washington for the 27' class. He had a special 1st team all-conference season as a freshman which is rare, going for 70+ tackles with 5 tackles for loss.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='726154' first='Ta'u' last='Mareko'] 6-1 220 26' Lakes WA OFFERS (3) Washington, Hawaii, Nevada

Mareko had one of the best stat lines among defenders in Washington, making 105 total tackles with 100 of them being solo. An unreal statistic. His offer from the Huskies is a game changer.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='936091' first='Colby' last='Johnson'] 6-3 210 26' Eastlake WA

Johnson possesses great size and is extremely fast and physical. The Wolves went 11-2 last year, losing in the state semi's to Grahm Kapowsin 27-24. They should once again compete for a title.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='693691' first='Nikko' last='Speer'] 6-2 225 25' Camas WA

The combination of Speer and Webb is going to be a problem for opponents. The GSHL Defensive POY was off the charts good this past season, making 143 total tackles. His speed and instincts on film will have him listed on multiple D1 recruiting boards.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='584705' first='Adonai' last='Ve'e'] 6-1 235 27' Garfield WA

Ve'e was off the charts good as a freshman, racking up 2nd team all-conference accolades. His 72 total tackles, with 16 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks was one of the best stat lines of any LB regardless of class.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='1165346' first='Shan' last='Jones'] 6-3 210 26' Mount Tahoma WA

Super impressive kid with good size. Jones got in the mix as a freshman and followed that up with a noteworthy sophomore campaign, racking up 65 tackles with 13 tackles for loss.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='1165393' first='Jordan' last='Rife'] 6-4 180 26' Archbishop Murphy WA

Rife did an outstanding job from his OLB position, while also being athletic enough at 6-4 to run the football. As mentioned, the 2026 class at Archbishop Murphy is the real deal.

13.[player_tooltip player_id='348167' first='Levi' last='Webb'] 5-10 205 25' Skyview WA

Hopefully Webb has his cardio in check as he should rarely leave the field this coming season. He played out of position, earning 1st team all-conference honors on the D line, leading the team in sacks (9) and tackles for loss (11).

14.[player_tooltip player_id='1095831' first='Kaden' last='Hamlin'] 6-1 225 25' Skyview WA

Hamlin led a good 10-2 Skyview team in tackles with 86, also adding multiple INT's and sacks, while earning 1st team all GSHL honors. From a projection standpoint there is still a lot yet to be determined but he should be a good collegiate backer.

15.[player_tooltip player_id='1165375' first='Jamirie' last='Pringle'] 6-5 210 26' Silas WA

At 6-5 Jamirie has a chance to write his own ticket. He's incredibly versatile and could be your WR/TE if not on the defensive side of the ball.
