Coming off of a big Sophomore season, there were big expectations for Anderson as a Junior. Unfortunately, an injury ended his season after 2 games. He’s rehabbed since then and should be good to roll this fall. Looking back at his sophomore tape there are quite a few things that stand out. His pursuit and ability to make the tough tackles were the biggest things to notice. He didn’t miss tackles and would make TFLs look easy. I’m anxious to see what Anderson does this fall because it’s going to be imperative he bounces back healthy.

Thomas is coming off of his best season to date where he broke into the Varsity level and made some quality plays. He’s a good athlete with potential on both sides of the ball. He’s thick enough to withstand hits between the tackles yet still has the speed to drop back and cover the slot. While he may not have a ton of reps quite yet, the ones he’s had have been promising and continuously improved.

Titus broke out onto the scene in a big way for Greenfield-Central this past fall. The previous few years he poked his head around and got his feet wet. When his time came, he was ready. He’s a high-motor player who gives relentless effort on every down. He’s willing to run down the field and chase after a ball carrier when most would give up. I also appreciate the fact he knows how to use his length to his advantage. 56 tackles last season but 14 of them were TFLs. Titus can create havoc behind the line and help your run defense.

Benson just had an incredible season where he proved to be a versatile and consistent linebacker that Bishop Chatard can trust. He’s got good vision in the 2nd level and can track the ball as well as anyone. He’s well-built and can hold up in the trenches. He can create penetration when he’s rushing and get home. 85 total tackles, 10 TFLs, an interception, 2 forced fumbles, and a pair of sacks is what he accomplished, but it’s the potential he possesses that makes him a target for down the road.

Krehl is a do-it-all guy for East Noble who has more value to his team than he likely realizes. Having a guy play offense, defense, special teams, and be a leader is a very rare feat. Even rarer to be as productive as Krehl is. I know it’s a small school and that is the knock against some of these guys, but if you are that dude you are supposed to dominate. 635 yards and 12 TDs on the ground, 252 yards and 4 TDs through the air, and 88 tackles with 11 TFLs as a Junior. He’s then a fantastic baseball player who hits for average. A good sign of hand-eye coordination which is a key attribute for any LB or RB.
