The University of South Florida hosted another Prospect Camp setting on June 23, which provides prospects the chance to be coached up, trained, and compete with talent across the state. The spring/summer camp sessions are beginning to wind down but are still opportunities for risers to get noticed and on coaches' radar. The Platform Scout Drew Johnson attended the camp to get a look at the program and produce a reliable list of notable standouts. Let's get into some of the names that caught my attention on Sunday.

Gerald “Juice” Lawton | WR | 2025 | Vanguard | @juicelawtonIII

No doubt about it, this kid is going to bring the Juice anytime he's on the field. It's tough to guard Lawton who has great agility and even better speed when coming out of his breaks. He's going to be a productive slot at the next level and should make even more noise in his senior season. He's an electric prospect who's been nearly unstoppable on the camp circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='830661' first='James' last='Little IV'] | DB | 2025 | Bishop Verot | @james_little_iv

Not many defensive backs at the USF camp had lockdown defensive reps like Little in the 1v1 period. A silent assassin who locked down nearly every receiver who stepped up. The rising senior has a successful track background combined with solid technique that makes him an interesting prospect for the next level. He received a recent offer from Toledo but I expect his recruitment to shake with more eyes on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1771818' first='Jayvian' last='Tanelus'] | ATH | 2026 | Lely | @jtanelus05

One of the few prospects to earn an offer for his talents at the USF camp is the electric rising junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1771818' first='Jayvian' last='Tanelus']. This kid is next up as he's equipped with a solidly built frame at 5'9, 178 pounds with explosive power and Dog mentality. He's earned a few offers this offseason with plenty more time to develop at the prep level.

Notable Risers

RJ Perryman | DB | 2025 | Lincoln | @RjPerryman

Talk about being a DOG! This kid locked up and carried a receiver almost out of the indoor facility. All technique, Perryman was one of the more sound defensive backs at the camp. Solid speed, footwork, and fluid hips make him an interesting prospect at 6-0, 180 pounds with another year to work on his bag. I left impressed with this kid who has earned a few offers this offseason but I expect his recruitment to pick up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1744789' first='Tyren' last='Wortham'] | ATH | 2026 | Booker | @official_tyren2

Wortham was my other top WR standout of the camp as he was nearly unguarded during the 1v1 competitive session. Blazing speed and slick route running, this kid was dominating opposing defensive backs while attacking the shoulder and creating separation when needed. The rising junior has earned a few offers this offseason and has all the tools for D1 ball.

London Green | WR | 2026 | Sumner | @londondgreen12

Green is a speed demon who you have to almost tackle when beaten. Trust me it happened at the USF camp where Green showed off electric agility, solid route running, and sticky glue hands in front of onlookers. He has that IT factor where I can see him dominating in the slot position. He has plenty of upside, making catches look easy at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='1382644' first='Kameron' last='Mills'] | DB | 2026 | Mandarin | @KAMERONMILLS14_

You have to be a DOG at the defensive back position and this finished kid was one of my favorite lockdown athletes to compete at the USF camp. The rising 2026 is listed at 6'2, 210 pounds but was locking up receivers with fluid technique and solid speed. He was focused and racked up reps. Mills is a pure athlete who can make plays on both sides of the ball.

Under the Radar

AJ Causey | WR | 2025 | Manatee | @AjCausey2

This kid deserves recognition for the hard work put in and the progress he's made during the spring/summer periods. At 6-3, 185-pounds, Causey has solid speed and a developing catch radius which will earn him a spot on a college roster. Still has time to tweak his frame and technique but he has the tools to make it happen at the next level.

Kwasie Kwaku JR | ATH | 2025 | Mainland | @KwasieJr

Finally got my eyes on this kid and was impressed with his stout frame and ability to play the defensive back position. I knew this kid could play just evaluating film but nothing beats getting eyes on a kid. He's a solid-built prospect who showed off good upside at the DB position. Kwaku rushed for over 1,000 yards with 15 TDs and added 30 tackles and 3 INTs on the defensive side. College coaches get eyes on this kid.

Polk Dogs

Anthony Howard | RB | 2028 | Auburndale | @Anthonyh_2028

Not much this kid had to do but show up and get out of the car at 5-10, 185-pound as a rising 2028. Already looks like a 1,000-yard high school rushing back, Howard has picked up major P4 offers this offseason. Look out for Howard to be a problem at the prep level for the Bloodhounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368321' first='Elijah' last='Dias'] | LB | 2026 | Auburndale | @twin_frmpolk

The recent University of South Florida commit made his appearance last night at the prospect camp and finished as one of the top promising linebackers. The rising junior is another stud with a college-ready frame and mindset that attracts big-time offers. Dias showed his versatility and speed to cover running backs.
