Huge shout out to the UNK football staff for allowing me to come check out their first summer satellite camp in Lincoln last Thursday. I had a great time checking out some of the prospects who came out to compete. There were players from Lincoln, Omaha, small towns, and even from as far as Cozad in house, looking to get evaluated by the Loper staff.

As I walked around from position group to position group, I took mental notes of players who I thought were standing out. Here are my notes on a few players who balled out either in the testing portion, position drills, 1v1s, or all the above.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048104' first='Chase' last='Dittenber'] | 2025 | OL | Waverly | 6'0" 250 lbs

- Chase showed why he has been on a bit of a recruiting heater lately with a solid performance at camp.

- A technically sound lineman with great footwork, hand placement, bend at the hips, and mobility.

- Although considered "undersized," Chase is able to win battles at the LOS with his great understanding of leverage and ability to anchor down with his strong base to stonewall defenders.

- I didn't watch all the 1v1 reps, but I believe Chase won all, if not most, of his reps on the night.

- Very high football IQ and was very receptive to coaching.

[player_tooltip player_id='1060901' first='Tristen' last='Boehle'] | 2025 | TE/WR | Malcolm | 6'3" 195 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

- Tristen showed why he is one of the more underrated tight ends in the 2025 class.

- Good size and length, giving him a QB-friendly catch radius. I can see Tristen playing a "flex TE" role at the next level.

- Insane concentration. I don't think I saw a receiver make more tip-drill catches than Tristen who did not give up on the ball even when the DB had batted it up.

I saw a few DBs attempt to press Tristen at the line of scrimmage, only for him to show off his strength and physicality to get defenders off of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306520' first='Bradyn' last='Johnson'] | 2025 | WR/DB | Millard West |

Hudl

- Millard West's [player_tooltip player_id='1306520' first='Bradyn' last='Johnson'] was a nice find at the satellite camp and looks primed to step up big-time for the Wildcats this year.

- Some very impressive reps at receiver where he displayed strong, reliable hands at the catch point while also matching the physicality shown by DBs.

- Gets a solid burst off the line with good suddenness as he breaks in and out of his cuts. Able to create separation.

- Look forward to seeing more tape/reps from Bradyn.

[player_tooltip player_id='1105194' first='Louis' last='Welstead'] | 2026 | WR/DB | Lincoln North Star | 5'11" 160 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

- Mr. Consistent. Every time I see Louis compete at an event, he is always very consistent, whether he's participating on offense or defense.

- Very smart player on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Louis has a good understanding of what offenses are trying to do and can read QBs very well from the safety position. Offensively, he can use a defender's leverage and spacing against them to create separation.

- Underrated speedster. Louis has consistently run between a 4.5 and 4.6 at events I've seen him at and it shows on the field in his ability to get vertical and put stress on defenders to keep up with him.

- "Heads Up" type of player on defense. He always seems to be around the ball and will attempt to make a play on it if the ball is coming his way. Plays the receiver's hands to break up catches.
