The dead period is upon us in the state of Arkansas. However, we still have plenty of recruiting news and notes to pay attention this weekend. We are going to highlight several prospects to keep an eye on as the summer heats up. To the recruits, teams, coaches and parents enjoy a few days of relaxation before the work begins before the upcoming season.   [player_tooltip player_id='557681' first='Hayden' last='Sublette']-Tight End-Maumelle-2027   Prep Redzone Arkansas have had the chance to watch [player_tooltip player_id='557681' first='Hayden' last='Sublette'] quite a few times over the past few months. Sublette is a versatile player that can make plays on both sides of the ball for the Hornets. On the offensive side of the ball, Sublette is a matchup nightmare for opposing secondaries at the tight end position. Meanwhile, he can multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball. The versatility he possesses will serve him well at the next level. Earlier in the week, Sublette earned a scholarship offer from the Arkansas Razorbacks. He is a player to watch out for over the next few years.   [player_tooltip player_id='384054' first='Cole' last='Witherington']-Athlete-Bauxite-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='384054' first='Cole' last='Witherington'] is a player that can play all over the field for Bauxite. He is a prospect that can do damage to opposing teams on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, Witherington is a dynamic wide receiver that hauls in everything thrown in his direction. Witherington is going to put in the work this weekend at the linebacker spot for the Louisiana Tech coaches. He is a prospect that I expect to have an impressive 2024 football season. Witherington is a player to watch out for this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='706364' first='Carius' last='Curne']-Offensive Line-Marion-2025   The Marion offensive lineman is a player that can dominate opposing defenders at the line of scrimmage. Curne explodes out of the stance and gets into the opposing defender in quick fashion. He has the versatility to play multiple positions along the offensive front. Meanwhile, he has seen playing time on the defensive side of the ball as well. Curne placed his commitment with the LSU Tigers earlier in the week. He is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.   [player_tooltip player_id='384061' first='Parker' last='Glaze']-Offensive Line-Benton-2025   [player_tooltip player_id='384061' first='Parker' last='Glaze'] has had a busy offseason up to this point in the summer. He has good quickness and explodes out of the stance. Glaze uses his hands well to keep the opposing defensive lineman out of the backfield. He does a great job of clearing rushing lanes for his running backs. Glaze is an offensive lineman that looks to block at the second level in order to bust an explosive play. Glaze performed well at both the Arkansas as well as the Memphis camps this week. Glaze is a player to watch out for this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='1206783' first='Jordan' last='Harris']-Athlete-Maumelle-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='1206783' first='Jordan' last='Harris'] is one of the most dynamic athletes in the state of Arkansas. He has tremendous versatility on both sides of the ball. Harris is a wide receiver that can grab the ball at its highest point. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, he is a player that explodes off of the edge and into the offensive backfield. Harris had a strong camp on Wednesday in Fayetteville and earned a scholarship from Arkansas in the process. He is a player to watch on the gridiron as well as the hardwood.
