[player_tooltip player_id='126990' first='Chase' last='Colina'] is the top playmaker for Woodstock. He comes in at a thin 5'10 165 and has plenty of room to fill out. He is a featherweight prospect, so much of his production comes from underneath concepts. He possesses snappy footwork, allowing him to get DBs off-platform and work back toward the QB. He has a solid catch radius for his size, reeling in catches in a crowd and sometimes picking the ball off the turf. He is dangerous in the screen game, quickly working upfield after the reception. He is an impressive track athlete as well, and he brings some of that speed and flexibility to the gridiron. Colina is certainly a WR prospect with some small-school upside.

Maxwell Jones is a small-school guy out of the Columbus area, which consistently produces college prospects. In his own right, Jones is worthy of some college attention. He comes in at 6'2 190, offering him the natural ability to play above the rim, especially against his level of competition. He is one of the bigger and faster players on the field in every game he plays, which makes the field look small and allows him to separate himself from everybody else. He quickly finds his top speed off the line, allowing him to eliminate cushion and get defenders turned around in a hurry. He doesn't have a super diverse route tree and instead uses subtle head and hip fakes to create hesitation. Jones plays both ways and looks good on defense as well. He will have to adjust to the speed of the game, but he has worn a lot of hats and has the athletic profile to stick at the college level.

Brandon Ellison is way down the ladder when it comes to height, but I'd highly recommend watching his tape before you form conclusions based on his stature. As far as explosiveness is concerned, Ellison is one of the better players in the state. He has the top-end speed needed to stay away from defenders, but getting to his top speed is what's most impressive. From a stop/stumble, Ellison quickly regains his balance and launches upfield. He will generate plenty of fly-by misses and cause defenders to spin out as he runs by them. He won't take up a lot of space in the downfield passing game, nor will he be a big target, but he is difficult to guard one-on-one and can live in the flats/MOF when needed. I envision Ellison as a gadget player at the next level, lining up all over the field as coaches scheme up opportunities for him to get the ball. He is simply too fast and explosive to leave off the field.

Lincoln DeLaere is a polished WR prospect with a breakout senior season on the horizon. He comes in at 6'0 180 and is a fine athlete for his size. He isn't getting a whole lot of recruiting buzz, but I do think he has collegiate upside, and possibly at the D1 level. DeLaere is a decent route runner who can win with deception, but his hands and ability to win contested catches are what separates him. He shows soft, yet strong hands, plucking the ball away from his body and through traffic. He won't create a whole lot of separation at the next level, but enough to get his hands through contact might be all he needs. He is a good athlete and a solid player across the board, but his hands raise the floor of his game.
