New England Gridiron Development: NH Football Showcase Standout's

<p>New England Gridiron Development's <a href="https://negridiron.com/register/">2024 New Hampshire Football Showcase</a>, the state's premier recruiting event, was held June 1 at Saint Anselm College's Grappone Stadium. In this report, I will preview several prosepcts that stood out to me during the event. This is Part 1 of a two-part report. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Londonderry High School | Class of 2025 | 6'6 | 280 lbs | 3.6 GPA | OT/DE | NCAA#: 2401192368 | 603-374-7592</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1260847' first='Paul' last='Binder'] was my main attraction during the camp. He stands 6'6 280 pounds, and moved well during the drill period. Displayed great balance. He displays excellent pad level by demonstrating his great knee bend during the drill period. Plays with a great natural wide base and gets both cleats in the ground at pre-snap. Shows the natural ability to pass set, slide, and mirror with ease. Can maintain balance running and can hit moving targets downfield with athletic fluidity. He had two verbal offers from Fordham University and Georgetown University prior to the event. His performance during the event earned him an offer from the University of New Hampshire. He stands 6'6' in height and 270 pounds in weight. He did not test in the 40-yard sprint. He did a test in the L drill and boasted 8.32 and 8.62 times. He also tested in the 5-10-5 drill and recorded times 4.93 and 5.10. Couture can get to the second level regularly. He flashes the ability to move the line of scrimmage. Flashes the ability to finish blocks. Displays good balance. Performed drills with great pad level by demonstrating good knee bend. He is a prospect not known to me prior to the event. His 5-10-5 time popped after he recorded times of 4.24 and 4.38. He performed many drills during the day and had an obvious burst of quickness that stood out. He is also a wrestler for his school. He is coming off a 2023 season where he had | 13 TDs | 1,389 all-purpose yards | 743 Rushing yards | and 340 rec. yards | 306 return yards! His quickness and speed caught my eye. He recorded the following testing numbers. 40 yrd test = 4.68, 5-10-5 test = 4.31, L Drill = 7.03, Broad jump = 9 feet 4 inches. He is an agile athlete who has obvious quickness and bursts out of his stance. His performance on the day stood out amongst many other QB prospects in attendance. He is a confident QB and has very good athletic coordination. He displayed a proficient ability to throw receivers open and execute the back shoulder throw. He has good mechanics, including an obvious smooth arm motion and footwork that is visible in his drop-back. He has outstanding individual attributes such as decent speed, arm strength, and leadership. He currently holds a verbal offer from American International College. His desire to compete was on full display. He recorded a 4.78 when he was tested in the 5-10-5 time. Has a very good catch radius. He moved fairly well throughout the day. He can find the open window in zone coverages. His frame size pops in a live setting. He performed each drill with a motor and full hustle. During competition periods, he flashed very good accuracy on his throws. He also displayed good field vision and did well with his progressions to find the open receiver. During testing, he recorded a 31-inch vertical and a 4.91 40-yard time. He moved fairly well in the pocket while flashing good mechanics and footwork. He is a prospect who was not known to me prior to this event.
