In-state programs Louisiana Tech and Grambling State and out-of-state powers Michigan and Ole Miss each earned pledges.

Here's a look at those updates to wrap up the month.

The Rebels landed one of Louisiana's top prospects Thursday when the disruptive Edna Karr defensive lineman announced his pledge. Ole Miss had trended heavily for Adams in recent weeks after have previously been considered likely to end up in LSU's class.

[player_tooltip player_id='710273' first='Corey' last='Amos'] — 6-3, 205 LB — Opelousas —> decommitted from Ole Miss

The week wasn't all good news for Ole Miss, who had multiple players announce decommitments this week — including another of Louisiana's top 2025 prospects in the explosive edge-rusher from the historic state champions in Opelousas.

[player_tooltip player_id='546455' first='Erv' last='Smith'] — 6-2, 285 OL — Catholic (Baton Rouge) —> Louisiana Tech

The Bears' big, versatile offensive lineman, one of the key returning leaders for the Division-I Select champions, announced his commitment to the in-state Bulldogs this week as one of the top prospects in another solid class in Louisiana for the position group.

[player_tooltip player_id='1335968' first='Calvin' last='Sparrow'] — 6-2, 220 LB/ATH — John F. Kennedy —> Grambling State

Grambling State secured a commitment Thursday from the productive New Orleans linebacker, who consistently made plays behind the line of scrimmage whether from his primary position inside or showing his versatility to play off the edge.

[player_tooltip player_id='940926' first='Jacob' last='Washington'] — 6-3, 180 WR — Archbishop Shaw —> Michigan

The Wolverines ended a drought of more than a decade without a Louisiana signee in 2022 and have now earned two commitments in a span of just over a week when the tall, speedy receiver joined Archbishop Shaw teammate [player_tooltip player_id='913900' first='Jasper' last='Parker'] with his pledge. Both players earned rankings in the top 30 of Prep Redzone Louisiana's class rankings during this spring's most recent update.
