East Central Camp DB Standouts

He's a lockdown type corner with good size, speed, good hips who can turn and run with anyone, and superior ball skills and hands. TJ looks like the next college prospect up for the Crusaders. He also got high praise from his head coach. Definitely a player to keep on your radar for this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1249875' first='Tyron' last='Williams'] 2026 CB North Point<br>- Another junior to be cornerback who has impressed me this spring and at the camp was the speedy and athletic Williams (5'11" 160). Tyron was first team all conference last season after recording 33 tackles and 4 picks but has elevated his game even more and looks ready to have ab even bigger year in 2024. He's fast, strong for his size, physical and has really good skills at his position. He can also be a weapon for the Grizzlies on offense and special teams. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1312927' first='Jaron' last='Boyd'] 2025 S Parkway West <br>- Boyd (5'11" 175) is a versatile player for the Longhorns who can also play WR and RB on offense. He stands out at defensive back with his athleticism and ability to cover a lot of ground and defend it, and his physical play against the run. As a junior he recorded 42 tackles and a pick and will be a leader on the team and key player in 2024. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
