Community Film Room: Top Prospects to Watch!

Jefferson has some great skills coming out of the backfield- he has great contact balance and doesn't let defenders take him down without a fight. Jefferson can also easily make defenders miss- he has some great elusiveness, burst, and speed that allow him to consistently make big plays on the ground. Heading into his junior season, Jefferson has a ton of potential to be one of the top running backs in the state. Bodiford does a great job as both a run blocker and in pass protection, he consistently sets the tone on the interior of the offensive line and has dominated a wide variety of defensive linemen throughout his career. Bodiford also has a lot of athleticism at his size, at 6'3 330, Bodiford has a ton of agility that allows him to move around the field really well to make blocks downfield. Edwards had a really productive season where he totaled up 21 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 8 pass breakups throughout the fall. It's impressive watching Edwards play, he already possesses great athleticism, coverage skills, and hands that allow him to bait quarterbacks and consistently make plays on the ball. In addition to his skills out in coverage, Edwards also shows a lot of physicality with how willing he is to get involved in the run game and make tackles. Burnett had a great sophomore season where he recorded 34 receptions for 506 yards and 2 touchdowns throughout the fall. Burnett already has a lot of super impressive abilities at wide receiver- he can line up and produce both outside and inside, has strong hands that allow him to bring in some contested catches, and has great athleticism he uses to run and win on a wide variety of different routes. Keep an eye on Burnett this fall, with his skillset, he has the potential to become one of the top WRs in the state!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
