One of the top receivers and overall playmakers in Middle Georgia, Solomon made his college commitment this weekend to the Duke Blue Devils, choosing the promising ACC program over teams like Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, among others. Solomon is a sure-handed pass-catcher who brings a lean 6-foot-2 175-pound frame who can line up both on the outside or in the slot. He's coming off a big junior season for the Greyhounds where he hauled in 39 passes for 671 yards and seven touchdowns. He can run, jump, and shows impressive ball skills when making a tough catch in traffic. He shows quick feet, can get open on his own, and brings natural big play ability. His best football is way ahead of him, and if he continues to work hard and develop his craft over the next two months, there won't be many defensive backs in the area who can slow him down next fall.

Another big-time pass-catcher from Middle Georgia, Pettigrew is coming off a giant junior season last year where he caught 44 passes for 702 yards and six touchdowns. More importantly, he helped lead the Perry Panthers to a big state championship. He flashed easy D1 potential all year long, and this weekend he made his verbal commitment to South Florida, choosing the Bulls over programs like Arkansas State, Cornell, among others. The 6-foot-2 170-pounder has a promising frame, strong hands, and above-average athleticism, giving the Panthers an easy go-to option in the passing game. He can catch the ball at it's highest point and can stretch defenses down the field. The potential and talent was easy to see last year, and he's bound for another big season as a senior in 2024. No longer a "sleeper" receiver, Pettigrew has a chance to outplay his current three-star status down the road when he gets to Tampa in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='1195855' first='Synkwan' last='Smith'] – Roswell

An Atlanta-area receiver who was a major weapon for a powerful Roswell Hornets team last year, Smith an explosive, sure-handed wideout who committed to the Pittsburgh Panthers this weekend over offers from Georgia Tech, Georgia State, KAnsas, among others. At 5-foot-9 170 pounds, Smith is a dynamic weapon who can make plays as a pass-catcher down the field while being able to help run the ball out of the backfield. A quick, shifty prospect with good speed, Smith is one of the more versatile players in the area who has a chance to have another massive season in 2024. As a junior last fall, Smith caught 32 passes for 420 yards and 8 touchdowns while rushing 24 times for 285 yards and four touchdowns. There's a lot to like about his game and he's a threat to take off down the field any time he has the ball in his hands. If the Hornets are to make another deep playoff run, look for the ball to come Smith's way often in 2024.
