Class of 7A Predictions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's take a look at some of teams we think are going to be the top dogs of this class. There are some teams in this bunch who are ready to rock and roll. This is going to be a fun year for 7A.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Oak Grove </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We all think that Oak Grove has a great chance of repeating this year. They are a great team that stepped up and won state last season. They were undefeated and didn't take it light with any team that they played. The Warriors have some dogs on their squad that know how to produce. They have [player_tooltip player_id='679621' first='Kellen' last='Hall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='350938' first='Andrew' last='Maddox'] coming back to the mix this year. [player_tooltip player_id='466124' first='Kylin' last='Champagne'] is another stud on this team. Can't forget [player_tooltip player_id='920466' first='Malachi' last='Henderson']. They have some dogs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Brandon</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brandon is expected to do some big things this season. The Bulldogs are returning [player_tooltip player_id='403633' first='Tyson' last='Robinson'] who is a beast at running back. That is going to help them a lot. They also have [player_tooltip player_id='403635' first='Sladen' last='Shack'] stepping up to be their starting quarterback this season. They fell short to Oak Grove last season in the South Half after a hard fought game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Starkville</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are expecting Starkville to do some good things this season. They have Jay Ruffin returning to play quarterback. Davarrius Hairston is returning on defense. They also have [player_tooltip player_id='1217342' first='Philip' last='Swann'] back at tight end this year. This will not be a team that guys need to sleep on. [player_tooltip player_id='691284' first='Jamison' last='Kelly'] is a 2026 DB that we like a lot. We think that he is going to be a big impact on their team this season.
