Bowie State Mega Camp – Offensive Standouts

<p>The Bowie State Mega Camp was the other weekend and I was there to check it out and get eyes on prospects from all over the state. We already hit on the defensive standouts on the day and now I am focusing on offensive players from the day that caught my eye. Below are prospects that will be looks for all levels of colleges - Power 4 to D3 and include mainly 2025 prospects and one big name 2026 player. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">After seeing Jonah at the Bowie camp I am confident in saying his recruitment will take off this fall. A transfer from DeMatha where he mainly played JV, he is slotted to be a main player on Ryken's line. He has a big strong lower half that allows him to sink and anchor nicely, keeping defenders in front of him. A physical and strong blocker, Jonah showed a powerful punch and the ability to reset his hands. A big kid a 6'6" 320 but he can move, showed the ability to get out of his stance quickly and get going at full speed. Jonah recently picked up his first offer and has Power 4 potential written all over him. He is effective in all 3 phases of the game at WR, DB, and Returner. Kash worked out at WR during the camp but I like him as a safety as well and can see schools recruiting him at both positions based on schemes, needs, preference etc. A well slapped together player, Kash is muscled up and plays with a low center of gravity. Kashez plays with a lot of explosiveness in his game. In camp he would burst off the LOS and press vertically getting the DB on his heels and off balance. He has quick COD and fluidity in his movement, no wasted momentum or loss of speed when he breaks out of cuts. He shows god ball skills, tracks it well and has soft hands. On defense, Kash will come down and hit and shows a lot of range. Already earning some interest and offers from D3 schools, he will have plenty more schools checking him out after his senior year. A thick build kid, he has been filling out his frame with good muscle this offseason. A versatile player for TJ, Jamar plays the X or slot WR and S on defense. He is a tough and physical player who will come up and support the run on D. As a WR he shows good ball skills and is a nice leaper, will go up and high point the ball. Jamar is a quick to accelerate and hit top speed, once he gets going he shows a lot of burst/explosiveness. A hulking 6'4 and 300lbs+ he carries his weight well and is bale to pop out of stance quickly. A strong IOL prospect, he is a Guard who can pull and move in space. He shows good lateral mobility, plays on his toes and has power through the hips. Larry has a strong upper half, power in his punch and once he engages he drives the defender out of the frame. Plays with some nasty in his game as well which you always like to see from your Oline. Want to see Larry improve on his bend/flexibility to help his get a stronger base. With long arms and a frame that will fill out well and add a lot of good weight, the future is bright for Hunter. He moves well, is light on his feet and agile. He can kick-step well, long arm defenders and keep them at a distance. He still needs some development as an OT but with a good senior year he will draw some strong interest from colleges. </p>
