Simply put, this event was a absolutely awesome. In the midst of a very popular camp weekend where locally both Rutgers and Marist hosted competing camps, Van Curen managed to host over 500 prospects, roughly 65 colleges, well over 150 college coaches, and just one member of the media – me – who will be bringing you the exclusive media coverage of the event.
My exclusive coverage of the event continues with this piece on positional analysis of the group mentioned in the article’s title.
Positional Breakdown: Wide Receivers
Woodbridge sent a second receiver, Daunte Difonzo Daunte Difonzo 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Woodbridge | 2025 NJ , who is a 2025 graduate to compete at this event. What Difonzo showed signs indicative that he is a tremendous underneath/slot receiver. Difonzo looked very sharp and quick in-and-out of his cuts. Moreover, he also demonstrated soft hands, hauling in passes that were thrown extremely hard without issue….. After previously seeing him at defensive back at another event, Mount Olive’s Rondell Derrick Rondell Derrick 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Mount Olive | 2025 NJ suited up at receiver for this one. Derrick moved fluidly when he was running; however,

looks to be another impressive athlete. E-town’s very own had an explosive broad jump of just under 110″ and had an impressive forty for a freshman at 4.69 seconds. I thought the way Williams moved his body was extremely noteworthy. To the naked eye he appeared both fast and quick. Williams’ movements were both sudden and explosive and he looked dangerous with the ball in his hands. Also, the 2027 graduate is the younger brother of teammate

. Blount looked particularly good when running underneath routes. He possessed a solid release to ensure timing, adequate route precision to create separation, and sufficient speed to gain yardage. Additionally, Blount is a hands catcher who will extend his arms to secure the ball.
