7x7: Capitol City Jamboree Video

Santa Fe High hosted St. Michael's, Capital and Pojoaque Valley Wednesday night at Ivan Head Stadium for the annual Capitol City Jamboree.

As always, the focus in 7x7 events is on the quarterbacks. The competition for the starting job is heating up between three contenders at Santa Fe, while Capital and St. Michael's appear to have entrenched starters in Deaven Montano Deaven Montano 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Capital | 2025 State NM and Reed Bass Reed Bass 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB St. Michael’s | 2025 State NM , respectively. Montano will lead Capital's new look Air Raid offense. Bass helped lead St. Michael's to the Class 3A championship last fall. Rising senior Mario Baros took some of the snaps at QB for Pojoaque Valley along with rising sophomore Josh Gonzales.
