2023 Summary:

The Tractors had a .500 season for only the 3rd time since 2006. This program is one that is definitely used to winning, and being a constant threat in the ever tough KLAA conference. Fordson has been young, but they're hoping now that this youth will start to pay off. Positions coach Hadi Hamid told me, "We are going to be led by a great group of seniors, but also a handful of 2026s and 2027s who are looking to make a significant impact this upcoming season." This 2024 season will definitely be one that will consist of letting go of the last couple of seasons.

2024 Outlook:

"After an up and down 2023, we are ready to take the next step and that starts with a week 1 rematch with Macomb Dakota, who is a top program in the state" Coach Hamid told me. The Tractors have a very interesting schedule, squaring off against the likes of Belleville, Livionia Franklin, rival Dearborn and the aforementioned Macomb Dakota. They will be tested early and often, and will definitely be battle tested by the end of the season. The offense will be dynamic as they return [player_tooltip player_id='899443' first='Mstafa' last='Aljanaby'], their star receiver. Throwing the ball to him will be one of the 2 returning varsity QBs Fireas Awadalla or Mazen Beidoun, Muhammad El-Mubarak,or Firas Awadalla , who is coming up from JV. Coaches indicated that this QB competition is wide open at this point. Tractor Ccoaches seem to be high on this team from both sides of the ball. "With a returning quarterback room and multiple returning starters for us in the trenches, we are fired up to jump right into the season." After hearing the confidence radiating throughout the staff, it made me feel confident in them as well. If the mix of youth and experience can gel, this could be an extremely tough team to face both in the regular season or post season.

Players To Watch:

| [player_tooltip player_id='899506' first='Ali' last='Hoballah'] | 2025 | 6'1 290 | DL |

Ali has put together a fantastic camp season to really raise his stock. I've been fortunate enough to see him work a couple of times now, and I always come away impressed. He moves well, he shows a great motor, and shows a nice ability to change his pass rush moves time after time. Ali is going to see significant playing time and will likely be the catalyst on the inside for the Tractors. He's starting to receive some D2 offers, and I think more are on the way for Ali.

| [player_tooltip player_id='899443' first='Mstafa' last='Aljanaby'] | 2025 | 6'2 180 | WR |

Mstafa has done a great job of evolving. There was plenty of hype around him last season, and he mostly lived up to that hype. This offseason it's building again, and I expect another big step forward. He has a great release, understands how to create separation, and he has an incredibly large catch radius. He has good size, phenomenal athletic ability, and another year under his belt. Expect another big jump in production for Aljanaby.

| [player_tooltip player_id='899553' first='Khalil' last='Bandar'] | 2025 | 5'8 185 | RB |

Bandar is a returning 1,000 yard rusher for this Fordson offense. I really like seeing what he can do between the tackles. He puts his foot in the ground and can get up field in a hurry. He doesn't necessarily have the elite breakaway speed, but his contact balance and ability to grind out the tough yards makes him a formidable opponent for defenses. I think his role could increase in this offense this fall and he could be a breakout star.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1316950' first='Bobo' last='Diallo'] | 2025 | 6'2 | WR/DB |

Bobo is another really good athlete that Fordson is excited for. He's a dynamic athlete who is a threat on both sides of the ball. He runs great routes, he knows how to utilize his athletic ability to create separation, and I like his ability to do more damage after the catch. Defensively he is a quick DB who possesses great reaction time and plays the ball well. Overall I think he could be a great safety valve when all else fails.

| Husayn Sater | 2026 | 5'10 170 | WR/DB |

The first underclassman on this list is a very athletic player who also will play both ways. From the safety position he is a natural reactor, can jump with a lot of receivers, and shows an ability to tackle. Offensively, Sater is a technical route runner and shows discipline being patient and working to get open. Sater will be one to watch not only this season but next season as well.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1605085' first='Murtadha' last='Allabbah'] | 2027 | 6'7 320 | OL |

There aren't too many guys in the 2027 class that are at this elite size yet. This specimen is on a great trajectory to be a problem for years to come. In his limited clips online, it looks like he has a strong first punch, he stays low, and has very strong legs. It will be interesting to see how well he moves in space, if he can get out to the 2nd level and lock into linebackers. Overall I put him down as someone to watch just purely based of his incredibly high ceiling. Not many guys get this kind of frame this early, so he has a distinct advantage to start molding!

| Eesa Mohamed | 2025 | 6'1 300 | OL |

Suring up the interior offensive line is always a high priority for any team at any level. With Eesa at the center spot, Fordson should feel very comfortable with that spot. He's an aggressive run blocker who is mobile enough to move to the 2nd level and lead block. In passing situations he does a great job of anchoring down and not getting budged by the pass rush. When his guy goes down, he goes hunting for the next guy to block which is a great mentality. I don't have any reservations about the offensive line with some of the talent they have, including Eesa Mohamed.
