The Osseo Orioles are a storied program that has produced many collegiate talents over the last decade. With players spanning from D3 standouts, to 4-star P5 recruits, there hasn't been any shortage of players who deserve a write-up. They've been described as a well-rounded team that can run or throw the ball with a dangerous and suffocating defense. Meet some of the impact players for the 2024 Osseo Orioles!

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1167026' first='Trae' last='Odagwe'] 6'3" 285 lbs 2026

A well-built returning starter with a lot of power, Odagwe earned All-Conference HM honors last season and team captain honors ahead of the 2024 season. When he down blocks, Odagwe keeps a lower pad level than most, and once he gets his hands on your pads, good luck. He can move massive defensive linemen off of the LOS with relative ease and on his tape can be constantly seen planting defenders into the dirt. The Orioles have produced high-level offensive linemen in the past, and Odagwe could be on the right track to follow in their footsteps.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1255136' first='Corbin' last='Weber'] 6'4" 285 lbs 2026

Webber may not have been a full-time varsity starter as a sophomore, but he logged some serious varsity minutes and looks primed for a big junior season. Another well-built trench dog, Webber's technique may be a bit raw at times, but he provides a physical force upfront to be reckoned with. There are plenty of plays on his tape of him teakettling defenders on the LOS, and he shows off solid awareness on picking up blitzes and finding work when there isn't anyone directly across from him.

LB/RB: Phillip Sieh 5'10" 175 lbs 2026

Another talented junior returning with a year of varsity experience under his belt, Sieh is a two-way impact player who is sure to make his presence felt during his junior campaign. Primarily an outside linebacker, Sieh does a great job of adapting to the ever-changing nature of a football play. He's one of the better linebackers in coverage in his class. When defending the run, Sieh is aggressive and physical, yet manages to track the near hip of ball carriers well. On the other side of the ball, he's a powerful back capable of running through defenders.

QB: [player_tooltip player_id='236169' first='Gavin' last='Stahl'] 6'2" 220 lbs 2025

Stahl is a recent team addition from Champlin Park, but teammates expect him to make a big difference right away as a signal caller. He had a standout season on JV last season for the Rebels, but the dual-threat QB looks to make his talents better seen with the Orioles in 2024. At his core, Stahl is a competitor, and that drive is clear on his tape. When he needs to, Stahl will take the rock and run through defenders, but he's also comfortable standing in the pocket and delivering strikes across the center of the field. His style of play could add an entirely new dynamic to the Orioles offense.

WR: Zymirr Johnson 5'9" 150 lbs 2026

Johnson returns after a spectacular sophomore season that saw him lead the team in receiving yards. His tape opens up with an amazing catch of a ball thrown far behind him which showcases his body control and sticky hands. Johnson is an explosive route runner who quickly gets a step up on most DBs with his speed. In the open field, he proves incredibly difficult to tackle and provides a legitimate YAC threat every single time the ball is slung his way. Johnson's ability to bring down the ball seemingly outside of his catch radius doesn't cease to amaze me and I think he's due for a spot on some college coach's big boards.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='469057' first='Iggie' last='Cooper'] 6'1" 195 lbs 2025

While he doesn't have any tape from his junior season, I'd feel as if I wasn't doing my job properly if I didn't mention Cooper in this article. During the 2022-2023 season, he was the Orioles' leader in receiving yards and has consistently put forth impressive camp performances since then. He's got a great catch radius and should provide a dangerous 1-2 combo with Zymirr Johnson in 2024.

DB: Gary Holloway II 5'9" 150 lbs 2026

Another sophomore returning after a year starting on varsity, Holloway is a do-it-all safety who excels at stopping the run. Throughout his tape, Holloway can be seen screaming downfield, filling gaps alley to alley, and lighting up ball carriers when he gets the chance. He's tenacious and has shown that he will fight through blockers tooth and nail to get to the ball carrier, yet he doesn't get overzealous and remains disciplined when hawking them down. The Orioles have a solid young defensive core with Holloway at the center.

LB: Dominic Jones 5'10" 210 lbs 2025

A hard-hitting inside linebacker who recorded 46 TTck, 8 TFLs, and 1 FF as a junior, Jones's ability to fly alley to alley and his knack of finding his way into the backfield has not gone unnoticed. He tackles low and shows off quick feet throughout his tape. The way Jones scrapes over the top of the LOS before finding the optimal gap to light up a ball carrier is a borderline work of art. His presence across the middle of the field will be more than felt during his senior year.

RB: Omar Knighten 5'7" 185 lbs 2025

A lacrosse standout who also rushed for over 550 yards last season, Knighten is tragically undervalued when discussing top 6A runningbacks. Although he's built like a brick, Knighten retains the speed of a smaller back with all the benefits of his bigger frame. He never stops moving his feet, even when he's rocked by a bigger defender, this allows Knighten to break arm tackles frequently. Knighten is surrounded with fellow talented offensive weapons ahead of the 2024 season and this could lead to a breakthrough for the Orioles offense.
