He is equally as good inside the pocket making throws as he is outside the pocket using his legs. Heinle has excellent mechanics and throws a good football. He does well reading the defense and throwing the ball to the right spot. He also has a strong arm and shows it off by throwing a good deep ball. Heinle is also good outside the pocket. He has a great presence and feels the pressure well, so he knows how to escape the pressure and look for open receivers. He also is a good runner and when he gets into the open field he is elusive and a physical runner. He also does a great job of anticipating where his receivers will be and delivering the ball. He also shows the same skill when the play breaks down and he scrambles around to find open receivers. He might not be the fastest runner, but he is a physical runner who is hard to bring down. On one play in particular he was met at the goalline by three defenders and still broke all three tackles to score a touchdown. He has legit speed and when he gets into the open field he can score anytime he touches the ball. He seems to relish the opportunity when the play breaks down and tries to scramble around to make plays. Harris is also good in the pocket. He shows good mechanics and delivers a good football. He is also good in designed QB run plays where he runs for big plays.
