It would highlight 50 seniors-to-be as they navigate May and June, two incredibly important months for recruits who play host to college coaches at their high schools, take campus visits and work out at summer camps for scouts. The idea was to provide them as much exposure as possible during a critical juncture.
Turns out, there are more than 50 out there. We’ve reached 75 guys with this installment.
You can check out the first 10 parts of the series HERE. It’s the 10th installment with links to the first nine. Part XI is HERE, Part XII HERE, XIII HERE and XIV HERE.
Here’s a look at five more student-athletes:
Cunell Burrage Cunell Burrage 5'9" | 160 lbs | ATH Davenport North | 2025 State IA , ATH, Davenport North
Burrage’s junior highlight video is a fun watch. He provides excitement on offense, defense and special teams.
As a junior, Burrage caught 21 passes for 336 yards (16.0 YPC) and two touchdowns. He carried five times for 41 yards and a score. On defense, he tallied an interception, 12 solo tackles and 1.5 TFL. He averaged 27.9 yards on 13 kick returns.
Burrage brings speed to the party no matter where you line him up as evidenced by him competing in the 200, the 4×100, 4×200 and sprint medley relays at the state track meet earlier this month. He’s tough to contain as a receiver, especially in man coverage. Burrage displays smooth actions and hips working at cornerback. He holds up well in run support, too.
Grand View has reportedly offered Burrage a scholarship. He visited South Dakota State last month. Northern Iowa, North Dakota State and Western Illinois stopped by North to meet with him in May.
Justice Parkey Justice Parkey 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR Des Moines Hoover | 2025 State IA , ATH, Des Moines Hoover
Like Burrage, Parkey is a student-athlete that could end up on offense or defense with the added value as a return man. He contributes in all three phases for Hoover.
Parkey’s junior highlight video reveals a dynamic performer with a lot more left in the tank for growth and development. He’s coming off a season that saw him catch 16 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown in a limited offense. He should build on that performance and the success he enjoyed as a returner after competing in the open 400 and two relays at state track.
As a receiver, Parkey excels at winning contested balls. He utilizes a nice vertical leap, body control and timing in doing so. He appears football fast, which also helps him as a cornerback. Parkey impresses on defense with a smooth back pedal and fluid hip movement.
Iowa State and Upper Iowa played host to Parkey on campus visits in April. He reported scholarship offers from Grand View and Wayne State this month, and he’s been invited to camp with Iowa and others.
Jordan Tate Jordan Tate 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Davenport West | 2025 State IA , RB, Davenport West
Tate shined as a junior, racking up 909 yards (5.8 YPC) and 12 touchdowns for a modest offense. On the other side of the ball, he piled up 27 solo tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. He ran sprints for the track team this spring.
Programs like Tate at running back. As we see during his junior highlight video, he’s certainly a talented guy at the position. Others see him helping out their defense.
Tate stands out for his acceleration through the hole. He takes the rock and is ready to go, kicking it into second gear beyond the line. Tate runs with power as well, breaking arm tackles regularly. He employs those traits as an active linebacker that diagnoses plays quickly and wraps up.
Wisconsin-Platteville has extended an opportunity to Tate. He visited there and St. Thomas this spring, and reported junior day invitations from South Dakota State and Wayne State.
Hayden Vonnahme Hayden Vonnahme 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Kuemper Catholic | 2025 State IA , C, Kuemper Catholic
Vonnahme’s older brother, DJ Vonnahme, is heading to Iowa this fall as a tight end. Hayden prefers to mix it up in the middle of the line, and he does that pretty well.
Looking at his junior highlight video, we can see the requisite power and low pad level necessary to succeed at center. The 6-foot-2, 280-pounder gets into the chest of the defender quickly, drives with his legs and controls with his hands as a technically sound performer.
Hayden Vonnahme Hayden Vonnahme 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Kuemper Catholic | 2025 State IA competes in the field events for the track team and is a good athlete. It’s possible he could work on the interior of the defensive line with his tool box.
Not sure why Hayden is flying so far under the radar in recruiting. He’s a different player than is his older brother, but he can definitely help out a program on the next level with plenty of room to grow.
Roby Swartzendruber Roby Swartzendruber 6'4" | 245 lbs | OL Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2025 State IA , OL, Cedar Rapids Prairie
Like Hayden Vonnahme Hayden Vonnahme 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Kuemper Catholic | 2025 State IA , colleges are sleeping on Swartzendruber. At 6-foot-4, 245 pounds, is already producing and has a decent distance to go before hitting his ceiling.
Swartzendruber shows us on his junior highlight video a competitor at right tackle. He plays aggressively and through the whistle, overwhelming opponents that come at him softly.
While he might be better in run blocking right now, Swartzendruber is no slouch in pass protection. His footwork looks good and he uses his hands well. He also delivers out in space.
Swartzendruber visited the Northern Iowa and Platteville campuses this spring. The Panthers and North Dakota have invited him to summer camps.
