This year was no different with up and coming 2028 prospects who are ready to put their skills to the test at the high school level this fall. Along with middle school talent who are continuing to build up resumes. Some of the top high school coaches and trainers were in the building to help assist and direct players through testing, drills, and competition. Let’s take a look at the MVP’s from this event.
Kenneth Robinson (WR/DB)– MVPrnWas the headliner in the 40 yard dash line. Running two 4.6’s and displaying that same speed during routes. “He was able to run by defenders and finish consistently throughout the day.” Robinson is a pure athlete with great change of direction and utilizes his low center of gravity to his advantage. Good hands and a willingness to compete will fair him well at the next level. This kid has a lot of potential to grab offers early in his high school career.
Amari Roberts (ATH)– MVPrnOnly in the Class of 2030, his “size and quickness allowed him to keep up with the 7th and 8th graders all day.” He is a guy and will remain one. The confidence he has in his ability and the willingness to compete was evidence the moment he checked in. Right away I witnessed his ability to stand out at multiple positions. Showing off a strong arm, sure handedness, and elite agility. He made contested catches against older players and refused to shy away from the smoke. He will be one to watch develop over the years into a mainstream talent.
6th Grade- MVPs
Ja’Khori Battle (QB)- “threw the ball well all day long. Near the end of the camp threw with the high school football and had no issues connection on short and deep routes.”
Chris Jackson (RB)- ran second fastest time as a 6th grader and cruised by 7th graders in the process. Is primarily a running back, but showed some receivers skills.
Miles Chavers (RB)- showed off during positional drills and turned heads. Solid balance and footwork got his name to come up constantly.
Eli Ferguson (CB), Marshawn Dallas II (WR)- Got after it during individual period. Then used what they learned to separate themselves in 1on1 competition. Regardless of what side they played on, these two were coming up with the ball.
