Before the dust settles from the HS spring session and college camp showcases, recruits eagerly anticipate the upcoming season. With new talent emerging and established players stepping up their game, there are plenty of notable stock risers who deserve recognition. These athletes have put in the work and have seen an uptick in offers/interest. Let's take a closer look at some top performers ready to shine this season.

O'Lontae Dean | ATH | 2025 | Armwood | @OlontaeDean

Dean has developed into a major P4 prospect since making noise this offseason. He's shown off great athleticism, versatility, and a college-ready build to be a problem at the next level. Dean has been on my radar since competing during the 7v7 season and has since been ranked a three-star and was offered by LSU recently. That's big strides for Dean who is set for an important senior season to lock in legit college interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1130892' first='Joshua' last='Perry'] | RB | 2025 | Edgewater | @joshua3perry

We have covered Perry as a notable standout this offseason during the 7v7 period and he's only carried that momentum into the spring where the helmets and pads are back but Perry has only turned it up a notch. He finished with 9 carries for 123 yards and 1 TD in Edgewater's spring game event. The offers are rolling in for Perry who has developed into one of the better RB prospects in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1670969' first='Kaneilius' last='Purdy'] | ATH | 2027 | Lake Wales | @KaneiliusPurdy

Purdy is one of the top 2027 prospects in the Polk area and soon to be the state. You heard it here folks, this kid will be a Power 5 recruit in years to come. Special team threat and can play all over the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='163001' first='Niko' last='Boyce'] | QB | 2025 | Barron Collier | @NikoBoyce

I've been impressed with Boyce's development since seeing him dominate a year ago at our PRZ event. He's since improved in the off-season and he only brought that momentum into the spring season with 403 total yards and 4 TDs in Barron Collier's spring game. A bright future ahead for this kid as he's determined to progress at the position.

Carter Emanuel | QB | 2026 | Edgewater | @CarterEmanuel1

Emanuel is yet another rising 2026 QB in the Central Florida area who will play D1 football. With recent offers from USF, and Georgia State, he's set for a big-time junior season to show college coaches he can get it done under center and lead a program. A lot of talent around Emanuel this season since making a move over to Edgewater. At 6-2, 205-pounds, Carter will be able to run the RPO offense at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1132452' first='Evan' last='James'] | WR | Class of 2025 | First Academy | @Evanjames2025

Big-moves and a new school for James has his name buzzing in the off-season. He was recently ranked a three-star with offers coming from Temple, Marshall, and Georgia State this spring. James is emerging as one of the rising 2025 wide receivers who has proven to be a playmaker throughout the season. He finished leading the team in receptions and receiving yards in just 8 games played a season ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='1266273' first='Kingston' last='Shaw'] | LB | 2025 | Apopka | 2026 | @KingstonShaw15

It's starting to come for rising 2026 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1266273' first='Kingston' last='Shaw'] who's earned some recent offers from the likes of Arkansas, Toledo, and Buffalo. This kid was one of the top standouts weeks ago at our PRZ but is set for a huge junior season where he can put together solid film to be evaluated. The 6'4, 225-pounder has the tools and skill sets to make an impact for years to come. He earned some offers but with more eyes on his game, you can bet more college coaches will be interested in his upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258690' first='Drew' last='Follett'] | TE | 2027 | Winter Park | @DrewFollett2027

Talk about being a real deal tight-end prospect. The 6-4, 230-pound freshman just listed his First 5 schools (Baylor, Louisville, FIU, EKU, FIU). Sometimes you're too big for the competition at this level and the defense made it tough for Follett to get going today with a lot of pulling in the 1v1 period. All good, I've watched this kid make it look easy this off-season. Should be a big-time player for Winter Park heading into spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249169' first='Demetrice' last='McCray'] | WR | 2026 | First Academy | @DemetriceMccr13

Of the top 2026 WR prospects in the area deserves some recognition. Another transfer of this offense who will be a go-to target at wideout. Solid frame at 6-0, 187 pounds with plenty of time to grow and work on technique.

Darion Jiles | ATH | 2026 | Auburndale | @DarionJiles07

This kid is now on my radar to boost his college interest heading into the springs. Jiles is a physical rising sophomore who brings a lot of versatility to the Auburndale program. He looked solid on Thursday where he showed off crisp route running and sticky glue hands. Really was impressed with this kid who could have taken home DOG of the Day.
