Looking for some hidden gem quarterbacks in the 2025 class? Well, you came to the right place. Today, I'm looking at some of the Lone Star State's top rising senior sleepers at the quarterback position. Some have already picked up a scholarship or two, while others are still waiting on that coveted first verbal offer. That could change rather quickly, so make sure to keep an eye on these guys throughout the summer and beyond.

Armando Lujuan, 6' 185, Sunray

A natural arm talent with the creativity to adlib against free rushers and easy touch throwing off-platform. He's got calm feet in the pocket, does a good transitioning his power from his lower half to his upper half, and can add value as a runner between the tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117295' first='Presley' last='Harper'] 6' 190, Pearce

Harper does a good job climbing the pocket when the protection begins to cave in, he keeps his eyes searching downfield and has plenty of arm to stretch the field vertically. He's athletic and can extend when the pocket collapses, he's a teardrop thrower on the go ball and has a quick-to-the-point operation time on called RPOs.

Mike Jones, 6'1" 185, Malakoff

Jones has a quick setup, he shows serious zip on intermediate throws and will make you pay on the scramble drill if you let him outside the pocket. He's a bit raw but has a natural motion and is equipped with a solid follow-through & consistent ball placement.

Mikey Moshier, 6'3" 210, Silsbee

Mikey is willing to sit in the pocket with an unblocked defender bearing down and take some tough shots. He's got terrific timing & anticipation and does a good job squaring his shoulders to his target when throwing on the run. He's poised, can fit the football through tight windows, and can alter his arm slot at a moment's notice.

[player_tooltip player_id='1334311' first='Gavin' last='Parkhurst'], 6'3" 210, All Saints Episcopal

This young man is quite slippery & tough to bring down in the pocket. He's got balanced footwork, is mechanically sound up top, and does a good job of using his eyes to disguise his intentions. He even has a backyard style of play that will come out when forced to improvise.

Ryan Gafford, 6'1" 175, Stephenville

This kid has some serious moxy and a rocket for an arm to go with it. He's got exceptional deep ball touch, putting enough air under it so his target can haul it in in stride. He can place the football between two defenders, has impeccable timing, and is a terrific anticipatory thrower.

Charlie Peters, 6'3" 205, Dallas Jesuit

Peters is patient & relaxed within the pocket and is such a fluid thrower off-platform. He's got deceptive speed, smooth change of direction, and can make something happen as a runner beyond the line of scrimmage.
