Here is a look at five athletes who jumped up into the Top 30 for the first time.
DJ Ngassa DJ Ngassa 6'1" | 250 lbs | DL Wichita East | 2026 State KS , OL, 6’1”, 250, Wichita East
One of the biggest rankings leaps was from Wichita East prospect Ngassa. He moved from No. 36 to No. 15. Ngassa was firmly on my radar, but Wichita-area scout Wade Cargile pushed hard for his advancement in the rankings. In an earlier report, Cargile described Ngassa as a “wrecking ball” between the tackles. The Ace big man is getting looks from Division I schools as evidenced by his invitations to camps or visits at Kansas State, Kansas, and Nebraska.
Kaden Snyder Kaden Snyder 6'6" | 255 lbs | OL Salina Central | 2026 State KS , OL, 6’3”, 220, Salina Central
Snyder made a big move in the rankings jumping to the No. 19 slot after previously being ranked No. 64. He has three offers in his pocket from Wisconsin, Kansas, and Kansas State. He should be on the spring and summer combine scene.
Brody Litton Brody Litton 6'6" | 245 lbs | DL Beloit | 2026 State KS , TE, 6’6”, 245, Beloit
Kansas is fast on its way to earning the moniker as the “Tight End Factory.” One impressive tight end prospect is Beloit’s Litton. He moved from the No. 73 position into the No. 25 slot. Litton is a three-sport prospect in football, basketball, and track and field. He made an impact on the defensive side of the ball last fall finishing with 37 total tackles in nine games. Litton also plays basketball for the Trojans and averaged 3.3 points and 2.6 rebounds as a sophomore.
Kamarion Bodney Kamarion Bodney 6'3" | 190 lbs | ATH Wichita Heights | 2026 State KS , ATH, 6’3”, 190, Wichita Heights
Bodney is a versatile athlete who can play multiple positions. He moved from the “Watch List” to being ranked No. 29 overall. It will be interesting to see how he evolves over the next two high school seasons. He could grow and inch or two. He might get bulkier and more physical. Or he could slim down and get faster. He could play running back, slot, tight end, or lineup out wide. He has the hands and speed to also be factor on special teams. Bodney was also recently featured on Prep Hoops for his skills on the basketball court.
Ezra Spiller Ezra Spiller 6'0" | 185 lbs | LB Rock Creek | 2026 State KS , ATH, 6’0”, 185, Rock Creek
Spiller improved his rankings stock by 20 positions. He moved from No. 50 to No. 30 overall. He has football in his genes. His father and older brother each played college football. His physical skills are impressive enough, but add in his high football IQ, and you have a top 30-ranked Kansas prospect.
