The Texas boys came out deep for the Prep Redzone Combine series held at the beautiful facilities in Nolan Catholic High School. I can honestly say there were some DOGS in Ft. Worth this weekend and they came from all over the state. Many of these athletes caught the attention of many of the college coaches that were on hand.

Champagne had an explosive camp in Ft. Worth on Saturday showing off his speed and quickness. He ran fast and consistent 40 times both clocking in at 4.5, but his route running was the real highlight. Zay comes in and out of his breaks violently, so much so that he sounds like a boxer throwing a combination in the ring. His speed is there, but his quickness and footwork are what creates his separation. With interest from Coastal Carolina, UTSA and others make sure that you watch this one closely this year. He's surrounded by a very good Pieper team that went deep into the playoffs last year and with Southside transfer, and camp QB MVP, [player_tooltip player_id='1274002' first='Cayden' last='Keeth'] taking the reins in that high powered offense it'll definitely make for an exciting season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":1278034,"_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Nathan Parnell","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"5'9u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_weight":"150","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Hebron","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Whew!! Nate was moving this weekend, boy. The slot from Hebron came out and bodied his 40 at a blistering 4.4 and a 4.14 in the shuttle. Parnell is compact, fast, quick and willing to give himself up to make a play. He displayed his toughness on every rep. We had very good defensive backs this weekend and they played physical. Nathan never looked out of place, he came off of the line well with a varying release package. Once he gets a step on you it'll be hard to come back from it and he made the DB's pay early and often. Parnell should have a very bright varsity season in a few months.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":1278033,"_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"McKenzie West","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_weight":"178","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Prosper","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"McKenzie is one of the Top 2025 receivers in Texas. He earned All District honors last year at Prosper and I know that he is going to build off of that momentum. West was balling right out of the gate. He tested well and his drills looked effortless. 1v1's is where he really started to separate himself from the pack. Rep after rep he was battling with the top DB's. He comes off of the ball strong, has great drive, drops his hips and pumps his arms on breaks. It seemed to me that his best intangible was his hand/eye coordination. He would shoot his hands at the last second so the DB could play the ball and make the catch. I saw this on several instances. McKenzie will be an impact player for the Eagles again this season, look for the college interest to follow.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":1278032,"_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Joaquin Gibson","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_weight":"170","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Lebanon Trail","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"A hard worker on and off the field, Jaoquin Gibson, played very well this weekend. I wrote up his younger brother earlier this week and didn't even realize that they were related, but they're doing something right at that house. This Blazer is a 3 year varsity starter and it showed. He understands the subtle nuances that it takes to get open, catch a 50/50 ball, release off the line and and uses leverages to his benefit. Football isn't always about bigger, faster, stronger, although Gibson is all 3, he uses the most minute details to gain an edge. This should be an outstanding upcoming senior season for a veteran varsity player.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":4,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6647b22070edb"} /-->
