<p>The Prep Redzone Combine series took place at Fort Mill High School on Sunday afternoon and the action did not disappoint. Several colleges including Limestone, North Carolina Central, Livingstone and Johnson C. Smith was all on hand to coach close to 65 prospects through the L-Drill, 40-yard dash, pro shuttle and broad jump along with individual drills. </p>

<p>We'll have much more in depth analysis on what we saw from the drills and from some of these individual players later, but we wanted to quickly highlight who walked away with MVP honors as nominated by the coaches from Sunday's event.</p>

<p>On the offensive side, the running backs who walked away with MVP honors were <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='402503' first='Michael' last='Doe'] </strong>of North Augusta, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='616374' first='Mikel' last='Hutchins'] </strong>at Lewisville and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='766728' first='Drelyn' last='Brown']</strong> at Silver Bluff. At the quarterback position, two Catawba River Region quarterbacks took center stage as <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1149048' first='Jack' last='Bick']</strong> of Legion Collegiate Academy and Rock Hill's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='809751' first='Ian' last='Grissom'] </strong>walked away with honors.</p>

<p>One quarterback in the Upstate shined as Greer's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='600452' first='Kaden' last='Rowland']</strong> walked away as an MVP.</p>

<p>Wide receivers from the Midlands to the Upstate walked away with honors as<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='347516' first='Weston' last='Willis']</strong> at Hillcrest, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='464880' first='Stephen' last='Collier']</strong> at River Bluff, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1254122' first='Jamarcus' last='Smith'] </strong>(pictured above) of Gaffney and Ashley Ridge's <strong>Jaiden Deweese</strong>. </p>

<p>Up front on the offensive line,<strong> Frank Cahoon</strong> of Northwood Academy, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='756223' first='Nathan' last='Carson']</strong> of Gray Collegiate and T. Austin Kanyika at Aynor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1167204' first='William' last='Hollifield'] </strong>of Philip Simmons and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='402485' first='Cameron' last='James'] </strong>of Clover were the MVP winners at the tight end position.</p>

<p>On the defensive<strong> </strong>side of the ball, walking away with MVP honors at linebacker was <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='618765' first='Katarius' last='Gill']-Mcdonald</strong> of Rock Hill, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1254058' first='Jordan' last='Conner'] </strong>at Ben Lippen and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1046263' first='Caleb' last='Costantino']</strong> of Hillcrest. In the secondary, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1269470' first='Barrolyn' last='Dixon']</strong> from Ben Lippen, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='816748' first='Isaac' last='Smalls'] </strong>from Beaufort and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='617663' first='Kaleb' last='Simpkins']</strong> from Strom Thurmond along with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='875795' first='Hampton' last='O'Donald'] </strong>on the defensive line from West Ashley were all winners.</p>
