PRZ Combine Series SC: L-Drill, Pro Shuttle, 40-Yd Notables

FORT MILL | Sunday's Prep Redzone Combine featured what you would see in a typical combine – the 40-yard dash, L-Drill and the Pro Shuttle. We had a chance to see a variety of players. Here's a look at some of the notables from each drill.   In case you missed who walked away with MVP honors from the session, check it out <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/05/prz-combine-series-south-carolina-mvps/">here.</a>   L-Drill Notables (times listed are the prospect's best out of two attempts)   Midland Valley LB [player_tooltip player_id='272716' first='Andon' last='Hawkins'] did a good job of moving around to the cone, displaying an excellent burst in the process finishing with a time of 7.32, while Hillcrest LB [player_tooltip player_id='1046263' first='Caleb' last='Costantino'] had a good twitch to him and displayed good body movement in moving from cone to cone, finishing with a time of 7.03.   [player_tooltip player_id='753896' first='Jayden' last='Nichols'] | WR | Northwestern   Nichols showed a good burst of speed finishing through the line as he completed the drill, finishing with a time of 6.88.   [player_tooltip player_id='618765' first='Katarius' last='Gill']-McDonald | LB | Rock Hill   McDonald turned his hips quickly and moved from cone to cone, finishing with a time of 7.16.   [player_tooltip player_id='1261525' first='Andrew' last='Turner'] | QB | Hammond School   Turner showed excellent movement going from cone to cone with a good burst of speed, finishing with a time of 7.28. [player_tooltip player_id='402485' first='Cameron' last='James'] | TE | Clover   James registered with a time of 6.81. He had an excellent burst sprinting through the line and moved his feet well.    [player_tooltip player_id='762756' first='Kendall' last='Walton'] | OL | Lamar   Walton's recruitment is starting to heat up with offers recently from Wofford and UNC Pembroke, and Sunday could certainly help his case. He showed excellent body movement going from cone to cone, finishing with a time of 7.81.
