4.57rnThe 5’9 171 North Cobb ATH logged the fastest time at the Camp with a 4.57. Ward also ran the fastest time in the March tryouts for the GA Future Stars game among all participants.
Solid frame for a rising 9th grader and has the potential to standout at multiple positions on both sides of the ball in high school. Played RB, DE and LB on a North Cobb 8th grade team that won the GMSAA championship.
Multisport athlete that excels in the 200m. Received the B2C RB MVP earlier this Spring. Great upside potential and will be one to follow over the next 4 years.
Highlights
4.62rnHartsfield measured out at 5’10 186 and was my overall MVP at the RB position last weekend. He already possesses a high school body and has an advanced IQ on the field for his age. He is ranked as the #24 overall player in the 2028 Class in Georgia and is one of the top RB prospects among the rising freshman this Fall.
Depending on his physical development, I could see this guy being a standout at multiple positions in the future at the high school level. He is from the Covington area and is one to watch going forward, definite rising star.
4.69rnLong and lean, the 5’11 149 WR prospect from Edwards Middle School in Conyers ran a 4.69 to capture the 3rd fastest time. Raw WR prospect at this point but has all the tools to develop into a good high school receiver.
He has already added 15 pounds since the last time we saw him and has a long lean frame that can handle a lot more good weight. Shows good hands and can stretch the field vertically at this age level. We are looking forward to following his progress as he transitions to the high school level and gets a few seasons in a varsity weight program.
Highlights
4.71rnThe Buford 5’9 164 rising 8th grade RB/LB ran the 4th fastest time at the Camp. Juneau was one of the younger participants, but he took home the overall LB MVP.
I fired up his film from his 7th grade season and really liked what I saw. Had good vision when running North-South up the middle. Took a couple of pitches on the end around and was able to get around the corner and outrun the defense to the endzone with breakaway speed. Aggressive tackler on defense and has good instincts in pass coverage. Plays in a great program at Buford and has all the tools to be another star in the making for the Wolves.
Highlights
4.77rnThe 5’8 122 DB from Kell ran the 5th fastest time. Perrier came into camp with a list of previous accolades. He was selected a ’21 GMSAA All Star and was DB1 on the Kell GMSAA State Championship team.
Perrier showed athletic footwork during the group instruction. Has good coverage skills, tracks the ball very well and has good reaction time with his hands. At 122 pounds he still has plenty of growing to do before he makes an impact on the high school level but with his skill set already solid, he will be one to watch for the Longhorns over the next 4 years.
