PA Rankings Update Looming, New Names Receiving High Grades

<p class="text-gray-700">A 2026 DE/TE prospect that slipped through the cracks last rankings update. </p>   <ul> <li>6'3, 257</li> </ul>   <ul> <li>3.1 GPA<br><br>A prospect with little presence on Twitter before announcing an Akron offer, so I don't feel too bad not knowing his name prior to this month. Formerly out of New Castle HS, no seasonal tape posted, hardly anything from last Fall to watch and/or dissect. In terms of ranking, I will honor the Group of Five stamp and likely place him among other prospects with the same ceiling. I usually scour Hudl for seasonal tapes when deciding whether or not a player should land on our ranks. In the case of Mechanicsburg's [player_tooltip player_id='1520474' first='Josh' last='Smith'], I may have missed him because of a lack of junior tape. Has mid-season highlights, has a TD montage, both are certainly worthy of looks. Had I paid more attention, Smith would likely sit as a Top100 prospect, that's how impressive he is a two-way player. An evaluation will come at a later date. Would love to learn if Dickerson won over coaches working at DE or TE, I personally imagine his defensive prowess is likely to translate to the next level. All this being said, Dickerson reeled in his fair share of impressive catches at our event last Month. Landed on the PAFootballNews 3A All-State team, fantastic honor. [player_tooltip player_id='1317132' first='Derek' last='Hite'] racked up over 100 total tackles on the year, this number, along with tape attached, likely drew the attention of FCS coaches recruiting Penn Cambria and surrounding schools. 17 TFLs, 10+ sacks too. Hite has yet to crack the FBS threshold, yet his tape and measurables check-out. I'm unafraid to rank Hite above those with G5 opportunities, his tape warrants that type of praise. An Edinboro scholarship opportunity after attending their camp, a Clarion offer coming in less than a week ago. </p>   <ul> <li>6'4, 285, can double as an OL/DL | 3.1 GPA<br><br>Numerous visits paid to Seton Hill University, wouldn't be surprised if Perrotta hears a call from them at some point in the near future. D2s out west will likely fight for positioning to secure Perrotta's talents. I believe there's a realistic chance SFU and Robert Morris reach out to Perrotta after his first three games this coming Fall, he's likely a wait and see candidate for local Division 1 programs looking to sure-up their 2025 class, makes even more sense considering Perrotta can play multiple positions in the trenches. <br><br></li> </ul>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/tperrotta44/status/1792013665157198054 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Saw his first scholarship opportunity reveal itself this past weekend after speaking with Coach Hager and Coach Rizzo, both of which represent Clarion University. Camping locally paid off for Kiski Area's [player_tooltip player_id='1282112' first='Adam' last='Large']. </p>   <ul> <li>6'4, 300 | 2x 4A All-Conference OL | 4.0 GPA<br><br>I'm out of the loop as to how well Large performed in front of Clarion brass, I imagine he impressed. He was likely squarely on the Golden Eagle radar before making the trip to campus, makes sense considering his tape, measurables, and grades. Likely one of the easier trigger pulls, one of the few 2025 OL to receive a PSAC offer at this point in the offseason. A lock for Top300 honors, Large likely has a Top200 ceiling, high praise coming from myself.
